Hey ladies, For the past couple of days my legs and hands have been really swelled. On top of that, the baby hasnt really moved around that much and it has me worried. When would be the time to go to the doctors or at least mention it to him. Usually when I call about swelling he says its all completely normal. I am 29w3d

i was noticing decreased movement last week too. ( at 30/31 weeks) most definately call your doctor if you notice a decrease. also do some kick counts. drink some orange juice or something sugary, then lay down on your left side and start counting. you should feel some type of movements 10 times in 1 hour. if its 6 or less you will need to go in for a non-stress test to make sure everything is okay. i called my doctor 3 or 4 times during week 30 bc it just seemed like her movements had slowed alot, but now at 31 weekd, she is moving alot again.

sprry, i just have to stress this, please call your doctor if you think you notice any decreased movement. dont wait. they say its the first sign something is wrong. so pay extra attention to the movements, do some kick counts, and dont feel shy to ask for a NST just to be sure everything is okay. i dont want to worry you, just thought i would tell you what my doctor stressed to me last week

I agree. If you are worried something is wrong, then most definitely speak up and make sure your OB listens to you. It never hurts to be cautious, it's your baby.
