I had 2 kids posterior or sunny side up and sorry but it caused me horrid back labor. The epidural helped alot but didn't get one on the last. You can give birth this way but it takes longer. They probably will try and turn the baby when you are in labor. My 1st turned on his own after 4 trys and my last came sideways. Hopefully with 6 weeks to go the baby will flip around

My first was delivered posterior and it was very painful and the labor was very long. I didnt have any pain meds though so I'm sure that would help a ton. I took a refresher birthing cla__s and was told about some new things the nurses can do to get your baby to turn during labor.

About two weeks ago a friend then advised me not to sit in armchairs or slouch etc, to always sit slightly forward with knees below pelvis level, or to lie on my left side as it encourages the baby in to the correct position. I started doing this and my 39 week check this week showed baby is in a good position with back in the front, towards the left - my midwife told me the baby was posterior during the previous check... so the fact its turned round is good news, and may be to do with the advice I was given.

... oh, and I was told to keep back straight and upright when sitting.

My DD was postrior and I had horrible back labor that lasted for hours and hours. I didn't need any a__sistance to deliver thankfully. My DS rihgt now is on his side and seems to favor lying on his left side. Hopefully once he's fully engaged he'll be correct.
