wHEN I HAD MY TWO OLDEST GIRLS...i SPOTTED AT 38 WEEKS AND WENT INTO LABOR WITHIN 24 HOURS.mT DR HAD BROKEN MY PLUG BOTH TIMES.i AM 32 WEEKS WITH MY THIRD AND HOPE THE DR DOES THE SAME WITH THIS BABY.mY BABY GIRL MEASURED 4 LBS AT 28 WEEKS.sHE IS GOING TO BE ABIG GIRL.

I am 37 weeks (be 38weeks this friday). I was checked last on July 22nd and was 2cm and 75-80% effaced.I have been experiencing pelvic pain for 4 weeks but it has just recently increased in pain over the last 2 weeks. Doctor took me off work completely due to the fact that the pain increase when I walk or stand. I don't spot after having my cervix checked but I do have menstrual like cramping for up to 2 days afterwards. I have my next check today at 3:15pm. I was in the OB department last night for the pain and decrease in fetal movement. Doctor said just bad bh contractions. As far as decreased fetal movement he says my daughter may be positioned or positioning herself into the birth ca___l which will make it harder for her to move around once she's positioned. Also, she could have been sleeping most of the day due to the fact that she's gonna need all the rest she can get as she prepares for a long trip down the birth ca___l and out into the arms of mommy and daddy. As far as the BM issue...I'll be less garphic. I have never had issues with that in any of my pregnancies. I have never noticed that I can remember the increased frequency of them either. This time around I have noticed that I am having more of them than I usually do which to me is exciting because I know that's my bodies way of cleansing itself in preparation for labor and delivery. I'm pretty sure the doctor will find no changes today at my appointment as I was just checked last night. I go back next friday morning and I am hoping to have some kind of change by then. I have tried everything from walking, intercourse, climbing up and down the steps to my apartment a million and one times a day lol and yet nothing seems to be happening. Although, before I began to dilate and efface I did attend a local festival in my town and walked around it for bout 5 hours. I went to the doctor a week later and was 1cm and 50% effaced that was about 4 weeks ago. So hopefully this baby will come on her own soon. I think she knows the baby shower for her is this coming saturday so she wants to wait til after then to come out that way mommy and daddy will be completely ready for her arrival.
