Hey patti, i think the cake erin is taking about is a big cookie in the shape of a round cake and then they used frosting to write happy bday etc on it. Its pretty darn good...lol. So the diet doc called and I go tomorrow for 2.5 hrs for my cla__s. She also said to check with my ins to make sure they covered it. if not the cla__s is $1275!!!! I was like omg. So i am waiting to hear if they ocver it. If not I will not be going to the cla__s. there is no way i can afford it. I will just do reaserach or try and talk to someone else.

So they only cover 70% which leave me $385 plus the other almost 1500 im paying in payments for his birth. i called and they are gonna talk to the doc to see if there is anything else I can do.

Maybe you dropped Danielle....maybe that is why you are measuring smaller? Just a thought. Alicia, you are correct. Cookie cake is a giant chocolate chip cookie with chocolate and white icing and m&ms for decoration. I swear they bake in crack-cocaine because I go back like 5 times for seconds...or fifths rather! Alicia, please take the cla__s dear. Knowledge on stuff like that is always best first hand. Don't make me worry about you anymore young lady! :-) Patti, that is such a sweet story about your 'stuffy' (love the term). I wish more doctors nowadays would do stuff like that. Bring more humanity to humanity.

Morning girls. Erin, my dad was diabetic and he was on a diet also. Plus my granny is also. I found a ton of info online last night about it and i am hoping to find someone on here who is on a GD diet. Plus my mom had GD when she was preggo w/ my lil bro. So I am hopfully not going to have to take it. I am still waiting to hear back from the doctor. I will let you guys know what they say.

I agree. I almost had a meltdown last night. I was sitting in the kicthen with my mom last night and all these problems just has me so worried. I was telling her it seems like it is going so slow and that i cant enjoy it because I am so worried about having a healthy baby. I almost started to cry, but I didn't for whatever reason. Probably bcuz if I started I wouldnt of stoped. I just hope when i go next thursday I hear some good news. i just get so unnerved ( i think that is a word) when I go to the docs. I can feel my heart beat so much faster... I am just so scared about what they will say next. But i am very glad we are at the 32 mark. My friend who is 36 weeks went to the doc yesterday too and she ie dialted 1 cm. So they said it could be anytime now... I cant wait for that point....

I know my pics from New York are all puffy too , so I must have had the fatty lense on then. That's what I am going with anyway

That's it! I forgot to tell my mom to take the fatty lens off the camera! Silly me....;-) I'm actually starting to worry about my husband now. He usually calls at 8:00 on a normal day and now it is nearing 10:00. Maybe he's just busy at work. Good luck at your u/s Patti. I'm jealous you get to see baby. My appt it on Monday, but all they're gonna tell me is I'm gaining weight at mach speed and the baby has a heart beat. Stuff I already know! I can't wait for the appts. where they start 'checking'. The only thing that sucks about those is when they say 'there's been no change'.

My hubby just called and said he is taking a vacation day and will be here early this afternoon! I so excited! He has to do a little bit of work, so I guess he is technically getting off early, but it makes me happy, so....yay!

and erin, when is it that they start checking you down there?? I need to know b/c I have to start shaving again :) it's IMPOSSIBLE to see down there!!! gross, I know, too much information! :)

YEAAA Erin!! That is a great Birthday suprise!! Will hubby be home for the weekend then?? Yes, I too am curious as to when they start checking the goods, as I agree with Gabbi - something needs to be done down there!! But I think I will suck up the paina dn go for a wax as I am scared to weild a razor down there blindly. No need for st_tches before baby tries to give them to me!! lol!! Once they start checking, do they check every appt?? I think hubby is experiencing the preggo memory these days! He is loosing it I am sure. My SIL just called him and had asked him if I had spent the day in the hospital on the weekend after we got back from our trip and he said... uh no. Then called me and asked me if I had been... I said yeah where the heck were you?? He then asked WHY!!! Ummm,.... because my feet and legs were on the verge of exploding from the trip and they did every test they could on me. Then it clicks and he says oh ya right. I forgot. WOW!! I thought I was loosing it lately!! lol!! :) Just my funny story for this morning!

That's freaking hi-larious Patti! I am totally with you guys on the netherregions. Every day I'm like, okay, today I'm gonna wax and then I remember I can't see anything down there. They usually start checking at 36 weeks, but some docs wait till 37 weeks. Some tortuous medical professionals wait until like 38 weeks, but I think my doc starts at 36 weeks. Yup, hubby will be home for the weekend, so that's rad, specially since its father's day.

Erin that's great. I am so glad he could be home... I know that has to make it so much better. I just want to tell you all I am so glad I found this site so many weeks ago and that you guys make this so much easier and helpful. I just really appreciate it. I wish i could hug you all...lol.

Hi! I am back for a few minutes. U/S went great! Hubby was so excited to see baby on there and she was putting on a show! He measured her head and chuckled and told us that baby has a big head!! There go my dreams of her taking after me and havinga nice small head! I guess she is doomed with hubby's family big head! And he said she is BIG! She is measuring at 5.1lbs and I think the average is 4.4 at this point of the game!! He didn't say if they would move my due date up or not, I guess I will ask dr this afternoon. But she is head down - really really low - he said she is in the lowest position possible and b___t straight up! So all is good!
