Hopeful- That really sucks about you having to walk up all those steps. we have a kitchen at work and someone spilt something on the floor and didn't dry if off and I fell. I went down on one knee and kinda hurt myself. It's just a little sore today but I am fine. Mason has really started to move alot more. I am wondering if it is due to my fluid going down since I am on this diet???? I kinda hope it is. But we will know more tomorrow. Erinhow is jo? Better I hope.

hieee everyone. alicia, sorry you're so bored at work. I have so much to do in the next 3 weeks to get ready to go on maternity leave. so I'm defanitely not bored :) how's everyone feeling this morning? I've had such bad hearburn since last night. me and patti share the same ailments I feel like!!! alicia, glad you're feeling better on your new diet. only 8-9 more weeks and you can pig out if you want!

oh, one last thing and I have to get back to work for a while. hopeful, your doc can tell how baby is positioned just by feeling your belly. so even if you don't have an ultrasound, ask doc to tell you how she's sitting. ok laides, it's 10:45 am, I'm eating my lunch already (it's a f'ing miracle I've only gained 18 lbs so far) and I have some work to do, but I'll be back!!

Well my mother in law didn't get a buy out letter from the state. which is fine. I really didnt want to have to drive over there and pick Mason up in traffic everyday. But it does leave me looking for daycare for him. Which I hate to do.

hey ladies! I havent been on in forever! so i got my results from my glucose test last week and it was high (140) so now i have to take the 3hr one to see if i have GD. This sucks! If i do have GD it will be hard for me bc i have never dieted very well. i knew my levels would be high before i even took it though. shes been a big baby so far. at 29w0d she weighed 3 lbs 2 oz. her head circ_mference was like 28 cm! that is huge! but so now im just super worried about it and how GD may affect her. how is everyone else doing??

Hello princesses. Looks like everyone is busy busy busy today! Patti, it's comforting, I guess in some weird way, that you know what I am talking about with the drinking. I basically get the same answer-What else am I supposed to do? Alicia, that is so rad you are feeling Mason more and are feeling better in general. You needed a little relief! Gabbi you can suck it for only gaining 18 lbs. (but I still love you!) Hey Elizhope!!! So glad to hear you are going alright. Good luck with the GD test. Looks like everyone has pretty big little babies in their bellies. I'm gonna try and get one more u/s just to see the weight before I deliver. My doc is pretty cool, like Gabbi's, and he'll talk for a while and is really laid back, so maybe I can convince him.

Hello ladies. Once again, Its been awhile since I've posted in here! I need to get better about this. Anyway, Eliz- I also have to take the 3 hour glucose test (which I'm taking tomorrow). I landed on 135 for my one hour which was the cut off point. AHHH it sucks, but I suppose its better to make sure I don't have GD. I just had a growth scan yesterday (I'm 33.5 weeks) and baby is measuring small at 4 pounds. My first baby was small too, I delivered her at 37.5 weeks and she was only 4 lbs 14 oz. The ultra sound tech said I just must produce small babies. Though, I'm thinking now it might be the beta blocker (heart medication) I've been taking for irregular heart beat. The tech said that at the maximum this baby will weigh 6.5 pounds if I go to 39 weeks. I was really hoping for a normal sized baby this time around....I would be happy with anything over 5.5 pounds. My first was just so tiny! I was affraid I'd break her! otherwise things are good. How are the rest of you feeling? Getting excited? Nervous?

Hey eliz and preggo I am on a Gd diet and it's not so bad. It could be better but when it affects your child you will do anything!!!!! But i did here something today that I thought was pretty funny. She said you should only gain 15-20lbs during pregnancy.... i was like well im at 17 but dang....

ekay03 - June 18

15-20 pounds period? Eff that!!! I always like the ones that say 25-35 lbs. (Even though I always gain more), its not so harsh sounding that way when I say I gained 40-45 when its all said and done with. Alicia, honey, this is nothing. I swear the last 4 weeks DRAAAAGGGG on for me, and I'm still 3 weeks away from that point anyways! My sciatic nerve is being a pain in the a__s literally today. And I am so tired. Gee, Erin, let's see how much you can complain in one post. Sorry!! Did anyone watch Deliver Me last night? I love baby shows, I wish there were more on. I am getting so frustrated with hubby's job. About 2 weeks ago, he was getting the impression he was gonna go offshore for the month this time, not just a few days-which we REALLY need before Creedence is born. Well, he found out a few days ago three other guys are going and not him. We're starting to get frustrated that he isn't getting offshore. He was going to talk to his boss today, but evidently his boss beat him to it and said the next offshore trip, Carl gets to go. But I know it's going to mobilize the middle of July with my luck and he'll miss Cree's birth. In fact, I'm willing to bet on it. It just is p__sing me off that when he first started they gave the implication he'd being going offshore pretty much for a month at a time and he's only gone off like 8 or 9 days in the 2 months he's worked there. I'd at least like a d__n good reason for him to be in Houston instead of working in a stupid warehouse.

Yea, I'm going to ask my doc what she thinks about the lbs tomorrow. I am kind of nervous to go back for an u/s bcuz last time was when she was being a b*tch and I told the doc bcuz she almost made me cry. So I am worried that when she has my in her little room and the door is shut she is going to be like so I'm sure you are the one who ratted me out....LOL. I guess I watch too much tv! Anywho- my nerve in my back is acting up too today. It keeps going numb and its getting on my eff'n nerves today...Mason is really low today, I feel him in my vajayjay area all the time.... Kinda hard pressure where he is moving/ pushing. He is moving all over as I type. Erin that does suck about your buggy not going off shore. I wish Jeremy could do stuff like that but he is so busy w/ school he cant get a job like that. Plus with gas he cant help me with any of my doc bills or our credit card. Really sucks but I guess its life and there are plenty others who do it on alot less... I guess I will just keep wishing for that lotto!

elizhope - June 18

15-20?? wow, no way. Ive already gained 25 I think. Is the diet hard to follow? what kind if stuff do you have to eat? im soooo nervous about this test. i have to go on Friday and they are gonna take my blood like 4 times. my doctor said there is still a chance i dont have it bc my levels were not very high. but i know i do. i have every symptom of it. does it effect the baby alot? thats what im most worried about

mommaminchey - June 18

elizhope- u could be like me. i tested neg for it forst time and then when they checked it 4 times it cam back kinda high. Its not bad though, Alot of meat/ cheese and protein. Let me know if its positive and ill fax or email u the info!!!!

ekay03 - June 18

I feel little pokes and nudges down yonder, but I feel some pretty uncomfortable movement up high. It's like she kicks one appendage out straight and waves it around. I can't wait till they start checking for cervical changes. I'm so freaking sleepy and probably will be for the next 5 months. Yay! I literally get up every hour and a half to pee at night. Oh yeah, and still no news on Josephine's blood work. :-(

mommaminchey - June 18

That sucks about Jo. I hate waiting on that stuff... I got up 3 times last night and pee'd for what seems like 3 minutes straight. I was like dang.... But then I do drink water will my meds right before bed. I had another lovely morning sickness this morning... That was fun. But I have my doc apt tomorrow so I wont be on till after lunch....

elizhope - June 18

Thanks Alicia! I have the 3 hour test Friday morning and so im a__suming i will get the results monday or tuesday. ive been looking at all the google info i can find , so i would love to see what you have since you are on the diet already. do you think it would be really bad if i stick really close to the diet (if i have it) could i have a small piece of cake at my shower next month? or would that be really really bad for baby?

bellybubble - June 18

Hey hey all - well I tested high in the first test for the Gestatial Diabeties (sp??) but the longer 3 hour test thingy came back all good - so it still might turn out that way for you ladies - you never know!! :) Goodluck!! I also wonder about where my bub is positioned - midwife felt belly and told me it was head down but I get big movements down low - like a kick so I am like hmmm??? I guess could be the hand giving me a little punch?? Hmmm who knows - I am just rambling haha. Well my mum and dad are shouting me lunch today and I am soooo starving i cant wait haha - i swear i have never thought of food this much before in my life!!! :)
