Here's yet another thread of fun.....

How was all my little lambchop's weekends? My husband came home...yay! I sure do miss that man. I was EXTREMELY tired though. I couldn't peel myself off the couch on Sat or Sun, which is unusual for me. My vitamins have iron in them, so I don't know what the dealy was. I have an appt today, and let me tell you, I am not enthusiastic about getting weighed. When I say I have been eating like a heffer cow-I have been literally eating like a heffer cow. My belly is still extremely small, which is ticking me off. When I lay on my back, you seriously can't even tell I am pregnant. I'm not exaggerating either. I also have never watched a single episode of SATC. How unAmerican of me. ;-)

mommaminchey - June 2

Morning. I had an uneventfully weekend which was fine. I needed the rest. erin you do too look pregnant silly goose. I don't know why you think you don't. My mil made another fat joke about me and I swore to my hubby if she does it again I will say something. She said that at the shower (which is sat!!!) we wont be playing the toilet paper game where they wrap it around your belly.... Like I was too fat. But I was in a room full of her family for a graduation party.... So i didn't feel like I could speak up. Jeremy's family is just strange! And just because you have never seen SATC doesn't make you a bad person. I was so lazy and tired this weekend I didn't even go see it. I may go next weekend... Or just wait till it comes to DVD....lol. Yes I have become that lazy.

ekay03 - June 2

Tell her to shove off! And I only look pg (albeit only 5 months pg) when I stand up. I will see what Mr. Dr. has to say today about this shananagins. And don't you worry about being lazy. Now's the time to be it my dear. I already want some Taco Bell.

mommaminchey - June 2

Oh yum... Taco bell sounds great. I was craving KFC and I went and bought the 12 piece meal yesterday so I could get mash potatos and gavy and cole slaw.... yummy.... When there are 3 growing men in your house and a pregnant lady all the good food is gone the day after you go to krogers....lol

Hello all! I had my shower this weekend and it was awesome... my MIL wanted to give me a shower so it was small considering I only had her invite 4 of my friends and my mom due to the fact we plan on having a huge "birthday" party once this baby is here! My mom and I sat down and put a list together of those people and it's like 75 people! Btwn her friends and me and my hubbys... whew! I got a lot of great things... stroller, carseat, bouncer seat, mobile, lots of blankets, diapers and misc stuff! So i had a great time and eventhough I don't like being the center of attention, it was a great experience to have my 4 best friends there and my mom! The next party will be all about the baby and a crazy party! Can't wait... Is anyone else getting anxious to meet the little ones? A friend of mine who was due 11 weeks before me has been sending all these pics of her new boy, and I get so excited to meet my little one! Any opinions on the name Mallory for a girl??? How about Graham for a boy?? We are down to Mallory or Emma for a girl and Graham or Jack for a boy! Let me know what you think??

Well, I am officially surpa__sing the weight I was last year before I decided to lose a bunch of weight. What scares me though is I have 10 weeks left of glorious weight gain. Before I could even ask my doctor about the correlation between my small belly and the size of the baby, he measured me and said she is actually measuring 32 on the fundal heights, which we should only be 30. So there goes that theory. He said to expect another 8 pounder, but he would try to keep me under 9lbs. At which point I told him not to even think about stripping my membranes or moving things along in any way, shape, or fashion because I have to make sure hubby will be here for the birth. (Some docs will strip without asking, btw). He did a NST because I told him about Cree's erratic movements and it came back okay, but I'm still not rea__sured. He said he's heard of women reporting the same thing, but there's nothing he can really do about it now as far as diagnosing it as anything. I had Taco Bell, and well, that didn't seem to satiate the beast within. So I had an oreo blizzard from Dairy Queen too. And I wonder how I put on 7 lbs in 3 weeks........

ekay03 - June 2

Oh yeah, I like Mallory and Jack personally boodah! :-)

mommaminchey - June 2

Erin- on the last doc apt I measured 32 also. Maybe you have high fluid like me?!? And I love mallory too.

gabbysally - June 2

hieeee! boodah, love Mallory also. and I like Jack the best out of your boys names :) so glad you had a fun shower! I actually just got back from my work baby shower! it was nice, they ordered me pizza from my favorite place and got me a cannoli cake! I got some giftcards and cute clothes! it was really nice of them. then this sunday is my other shower!! I'm nervous, but I know it will be fun and I know we'll get great stuff b/c I know what was bought off our registry!! so, we went to see s_x and the city on saturday night, it was really good. I love those ladies, I wish the show was still on!! so how was everyone's weekend???

Hopeful3 - June 2

Hi Ladies, just checking in. Boodah - I really like Mallory for the girl, but I have to go with Graham for the boy. I went to the doc today for a checkup. I gained 6 pounds in two freaking weeks. My sickness returned last night. UGH!! I thought I was finally past all this. I haven't been sick yet today, but, right now, it wouldn't take much. Oh yeah, our 5th anniversary is Friday. Keith refuses to take me out of town though, because he says I'm too pregnant...lol. The slightest thing scares him right now.

Hopeful3 - June 2

Oh, I need your thoughts on something else. Two years ago, I had to have a dnc with my 1st miscarriage. They medicines that they gave me then made me quit breathing on the operating table. My friend told me that I needed to remind the doc so they can be sure to put a note in my file, so there will be no possible chance of them giving me the meds when I go into labor. So, I told this to the doc today. She said they will have to request my file from the hospital, because they don't keep those files at the office. She also said that as long as I have a v____al birth, I shouldn't have anything to worry about. But, Brynley is currently still in breech position. Full breech too, head up, feet down. I know she has plenty of time to switch, but the doc said that there is a possibility of them using the same meds they use for a dnc as a c-section. So, now I'm wondering if meds at all are worth the risk. I am not a pansy when it comes to pain, and Keith thinks I can handle it without meds. (I had my 2nd m/c without any meds at all, not even tylenol.) I think the reality of having a baby has finally reached out and slapped me in the face....lol. Oh, another question. My mom was in labor 4 hours with my brother and 5 hours with me. Do you think I need to be worried of a fast labor and delivery for myself? I only live 10 min from the hospital, so I'm not really worried about not making it there on time. Just curious what my chances of a speedy delivery are.

Hello ladies. Once again, its been awhile since I've posted. So, I thought I'd drop by and say hello to my fellow August Mommies! How is everyone feeling? Anyone else getting really uncomfortable? My little girl loves to kick, punch, and jab me almost constantly. It HURTS!! Plus, I'm finding it harder to get up from sitting, or bend down to get something. I just had my OB appt today and found out that the Dr is not going to let me go past 39 weeks due to chronic hyper tension. Which means. My little girl is now officially going to be a July baby (As my original due date was aug 2nd). I also found out that I have to go to the Dr's 3X a WEEK! The hospital I go to is probably a good 15 miles away...thats A LOT of gas! I have to go twice a week for non stress tests, and then once a week for the regular OB appt. CRAZY! I mean, good I guess they are keeping such a close watch on things, but sheesh, with gas prices the way they are...I'm gonna be hurtin'! Anyway, I hope all you ladies are doing well, I can't wait to start hearing everyone's brith stories and seeing those precious baby pictures!! Not to much longer!!!

gabbysally - June 3

guys, I'm a little traumatized this morning. I cannot get the visual of a placenta being pulled out of a woman!!! OMG, we went to the first birthing cla__s last night and they showed us a video that showed us everything!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the whole cla__s was like gagging and covering their eyes. oh man, can't wait!!! so how is everyone this morn?? I'm so tired, it was a late night for us b/c of the cla__s, and then we had a super late BK dinner after the cla__s and then I couldn't fall asleep!

ekay03 - June 3

Hello incubators!! Alicia, wasn't your appt last week? So you are measuring WAY big! My fluid levels were normal per my last u/s. I watched the video and the part where she measured my fluid and all I know is she checked the 'normal' box. Do they think you are measuring bigger because of baby or fluid. Probably baby! Hey Leah, congrats on the upcoming anniversary! I bet your sweet little husband will do something wonderfully grand that will make me look at mine in disgust. ;-) How do you know that Brynlee is breech? I'm curious because I've been thinking Creedence is breech too. What medicine did you react to? Hey preggo? Lucky you being a July Mommy! That's it....get off our thread....your banished (I kid, I kid!) Why are they doing NST twice a week for you? I've only had one and simply because I'm paranoid. Gabby, dear, the placenta is a yucky thing to see, but believe you me, it is the BEST feeling when that sucker is finally out of you. It is like "aaaahhh, I'm finally empty!" You'll see.... Oh yeah, Leah, I gained 7 lbs in the past 3 weeks, so I am right there with you! I'm just one of those women that gains 40+ lbs while pregnant.....and then it takes me 2 years to get it allllllll off again. Yay.

mommaminchey - June 3

Morning everyone. Gabbi- since I think you are the only one taking the cla__s if you get any real good info you must share with us. Erin- My apt was on 22nd of May that I measured big. I go again this Thursday. She said it was likely due to the fluid for me... But who really knows... So the blood I gave almost 2 weeks ago they finally called last night and said it came back fine. Which means there is no explaination as to why I ahve high fluid... taadah..... LOL. Which is kinda what I figured. So that means Mason is fine and I can breathe.... Not literally but like a relife breath.... I still ahve trouble breathing sometimes... Just not as bad....

ekay03 - June 3

Daaaammmmnnnn Alicia, that is crazy big measuring!!!! But, I'm very glad your blood came back normal and you can hypothetically breath. I must admit, today is one of the first days that I can remember that I am just a skosch uncomfortable. Lemme ask you guyses a question.....for those of you that have had a NST, what did they look for? I had thought that they wanted to baby's hb to accelerate and then go back to 'baseline', but all they said was for her gestational age, it looked good. But there weren't really any accelerations. Her HR stayed pretty much consistent. Just wondering...
