hi im a bit confused about my due date, my midwife says its the 5th of april but yet i think it is the 3rd of april (only 2 day difference i know) she always agrees with me or tells me im a certain weeks pregnant like she agrees that im 35 weeks pregnant next thursday and if u work it out that means the im 40 weeks on the 3rd but then she says im due on the 5th im totally confused! (last cycle was on 28th june 07) oh yeh plus if i go on any due date calculator they always say the 3rd too its just my midwife who has to be different!

Is she going by an u/s? That could make a 2 day difference. With those EDD calculators they count your LP as always being 14 days and that is not always the norm. Either way like you said its only 2 days. Go with the 3rd if you want. It is a prettier number as it puts you closer to the babies arrival. haha

Don't worry about it! Due dates mean pretty much nothing. Only around 5% of women have their babies on the actual due date anyway. It's basically just a point from which they can calculate how overdue you go....once you reach two weeks past your EDD they need to act. But keep in mind, it's called an Estimated Due Date for a reason...just an estimate! I'd be concerned if your midwife disagreed on weeks with you, but two days is nothing! Remember, every woman is different, and so is every baby. Good luck!

haha I just wanted to say that with the u/s measurements I have gotten everything from the 22nd to the 27th of Feb. Maybe she has the date of your LMP off or she is counting it a different way. I know what you mean though about it being frustrating. haha I just go with the 22nd because it is a prettier date and makes me full term today. haha GL!
