Pregnancy Info HOME

After we closed the garage door someone who had been looking at our desk called and wanted to come by with her husband, they bought it for $125. All said and done we made about $500!! I knew we would do well with all of the baby clothes, but I didn't think we would end up with this much. :o} It is sortof like free money when you consider that this stuff was just taking up space. We just got home from dinner, we went for mexican food. Next time we go out I want chinese. Jimmy is upstairs putting Maddy to bed, and I really need to get in a hot shower. I wish I could take a hot bath, but our tub is really small and I can't get the water level above my belly. It is really uncomfortable. I am just here waiting to hear that your water has broken, or contractions have started. I am hopeful everytime I see that you posted... quit letting me down!! LOL.

sorry about letting you down - believe me, I can't wait to get this over with! :) We might go see Indiana Jones tomorrow if Jr doesn't show up. My sister kind of misses watching Rachel since I'm not working anymore. :) yay! a night out!!! I just ate a huge bowl of fruit loops and feel like c___p now. I'm gonna go to bed here in a minute - and my tub isn't all that big either and there is NO WAY my water would fit over my belly. It's so huge! Ok...I'll keep you posted. :)

What about today... anything different? Yesterday we had family portaits, went to lunch with everyone and then to Home Depot to get the stuff to do Nathaniel's room. My brother and Jimmy didn't get started until about 5pm, and then didn't finish until about 11:15pm. It was brutal for me because I couldn't put Maddy to bed and I had my nephew as well, who is only two months older than she is. At about 10:30pm I couldn't take the whinning anymore, so I opened a bag of Ruffles potato chip and that kept them busy and stopped the arguing over the toys. Nathan's room is going to look great once we get the rest of the caulking done, putty the nail holes and get the painting finished. My goal is to have it done within two weeks. Anyway, you should have seen my house after the kids were finished with it. It was horrible. Every toy was out of they box and there wasn't a square foot of clear space on the floor anywhere. They did the same thing in Madalyn's room. We didn't get Maddy to be until 11:30pm, and were very happy when she didn't get up until 10:30 this morning. It was great! We spent a few hours cleaning this house, Jimmy got to take his motorcycle out for a bit, and I just sent him out for apple pie, cool whip, and chinese food. This morning I had to have Jimmy put my socks and shoes on for me. The muscles under my belly b___ton are stretching again and it is so painful to even touch there, bending is even worse. He put her to bed and now I am just waiting for my dinner, I'm starving!! Let me know how you are doing.

no news yet...bummer. :) We've been busy working around the house and in the yard and playing. I think I totally overdid it today though - I can hardly get off the couch now or move at all. You had a busy weekend too! Just wanted to post real quick to let you know I have no news at the moment. Rachel just woke up too so I have to run and get her up. Have a good Memorial Day!!

ohmy goodness I am tired!!! I did lots of laundry, shopped, organized the house, cleaned Rachel and Jr's room, sorted bins of stuff in storage, got out the swing and bouncy seat, cooked dinner, cleaned up after dinner and played with Rachel for a while before bed. I can hardly walk at all anymore. I took a hot shower hoping to relieve some of the aches but...nope, they are still there. :) I can't remember if I already told you but it hurts to pee. I sit on the toilet and it feels like I'm going to "tear" down there. So weird! It's like ma__sive pressure when I sit on the toilet. I hope he doesn't fall out! haha....We have a girl on our june thread in the hospital right now in labor. So exciting! She's due 2 days after me - so unfair!!! I'm ready to go...NOW! :) She'll be the second June to May mommy. Wow, I am ready for bed - seriously. I could lay down now and sleep all night, or until my hips get numb and sore. I wish Tim would hurry up and finish working on the bathroom and come rub my feet! They are throbbing!!!!! 39 weeks!!wooohooo!!!!!!! How are you holding up??

I am miserable. This whole weekend was way too much for me. I really thought that with four days there would be some time to rest, but no such luck. Maddy did sleep in until 8:30 this morning, so that was nice. We worked on Nathaniel's room a bit and got one wall painted, except for the chair rail and the base. It looks great but it is a pain in the a__s to paint bead board. It is a smooth surface so it rolls on different and you have to put it on very, very thick. It took me over and hour to paint the lower half of one wall!!! It was way to hard for me right now. Jimmy said he would finish it all for me next weekend. I really wanted to do it, but I can't. I am in pain just from today. This morning I woke up with horrible back pain. I had to have Jimmy put the heals of his hands on my back and put half his weight on me to get any relief. As soon as he would let up, the pain came back. Those muscles under my belly b___ton are still killing me too. It hurts to stretch, twist, bend, or lean over anything. I am really hating this right now. I saw a post from Michelly4 I think is was, and she had her baby on the 22nd at 34 weeks. Maybe that will happen to me??? Of course I would only want that if he was perfectly healthy. That would mean that I would have this kid out in a little over 2 weeks. Right now that sounds great. Anyway, I am starting to get the pressure you have been complaining of as well, probably not as bad as you yet, but I am sure that too is on it's way. I am sorry I am such a downer tonight. I just want to cry and be left alone for a while.

I feel better this morning. Sorry for the rant last night. How are you doing?

oh don't worry about your ranting! You're allowed to - you're pregnant! :) One more of our June Mommies is now a May Mommy! My next appointment isn't until Thursday -ugh. I want to go NOW. :) I might try to call and reschedule for tomorrow but I doubt I'll get in. They are soooo booked in that office. My dr was supposed to do a workshare deal with one of the other docs but that doc was pregnant and put on bedrest so now my doc is full time and handling the other docs patients. I have a hard time even scheduling a month out. Kinda sucks. I'm doing good today - got a little more sleep than usual - I woke up at 6 and thought for sure I was up for the day and next thing I knew it was 8:15. :) Nothing else going on today - so far. :)

Your turn will be soon, atleast sooner than mine. My next appointment is thursday also. Tomorrow Cynthia is coming and I am so happy for that. I have a ton of laundry that needs to be done and put a way, and the stairs are really hard. I wish we could get together, but I am so uncomfortable that I don't want to drive. Maddy is eating lunch right now and then we have to go to the bank and the grocery store. I will check back later.

Lucky you! I wish I had someone to do my laundry - it's my least favorite chore especially since the laundry is in the garage and we have a two story house. I hate going up and down the stairs...but I guess if it helps me bring on labor.... no, I still hate it. :) Just got back from Target - Rachel is napping and I'm trying to decide if I take one or clean the bathroom and my car. I have crumbs all over and I hate my car messy. I've been a slacker there cuz I'm too tired to clean it like I used to. :) Well, you'll have to save your getting together trip for when Jr is born. If he doesn't come soon I might drive out to the supermall again and go to Gymboree. :) shop shop shop...I'm in that mode now.

I hate laundry too, and right now there is a mountain of it to do. Cynthia is amazing. She WANTS a "chore list" when she gets here!! She includes Maddy in everythiing as well. I am so luck to know her. I don't know what I would do if I didn't have a little bit of help right now. The pain all over my tummy is horrendous. I can feel the muscles separating. I don't remember feeling this with Madalyn?? Oh, I got lucky and Julie took Maddy so I could run my errands alone. That was nice. Talk to you later.

have you tried those pregnancy belts? I don't know if they help since I never used one but it's worth a try. How is your new pillow treating you? MMM!! Just watched an Olive Garden commercial and now I want some alfredo sauce and bread sticks. Killer on heartburn but it sounds so good! Tonight we're going to my dads for dinner to celebrate my sister-in-law and my nephews birthday (he's one). My brother had to go to Texas so my sis-in-law came home to visit family. Her parents live down the street from us and her and my brother live up in Vancouver, BC. I'm just glad I don't have to cook dinner!

I have never tried a pregnancy belt. Right now I can't stand anything on my tummy if it is down low. I am so glad I have full panel capris, and cotton stretchy shorts. That is nice that you don't have to cook tonight. I just got Maddy settled with her grapes, juice and a Care Bear movie so I can cook myself. Jimmy will be home in 2 and a half hours and he is going to put Maddy to bed for me, so that will help. I do have to do bath time though. I just keep thinking that I still have 7 weeks to go, and it feels like and eternity. After today I just have three days to get through before the weekend again. Jimmy told me he would finish Nathaniel's room this next weekend and I am very excited about that. I think to that I will have him move Maddy to the other side of the van and install the baby's car seat. I keep thinking about that labor predictor quiz I took on line that said he would be born 2-3 weeks early. I also want to make sure Maddy is used to being on the other side of the car so she doesn't feel displaced when Nathan gets here. By the way, have you decided on a name yet? Oh and the pillow is great for sitting up and if I want to take a short nap, but I can't sleep through the night with it. It will definitely be great for after the baby is born.

Oh forget it!! I don't want to cook. Maddy and I are going to have some vegeterian chili and I will b___ter some bread. My kitchen is a wreck and I would have to do the dishes first. Have a great time at the birthday dinner.

hey there - well, dinner was great and I'm wiped out! Rachel is a little bundle of energy around other people...I had to run all over to keep an eye on her. She loved my nephew - she was pretty fascinated with him. Haven't seen him since Christmas! Jr is just jabbing away in there tonight too - it's killing me! I'm also feeling a little crampy again but who the heck knows if it even means anything. I've given up hoping. Yeah, I have less than a week till due date and THAT feels like an eternity! I will totally laugh if he comes on the 7th like I wanted. haha...I moved the car seat a few weeks ago and Rachel actually likes it more cuz she's right there next to the window. I have the baby seat in there but not installed yet - Tim needs to do it for me. Labor predictor quiz eh? That's funny - I have a labor predictor and it's called a Doctor - who isn't very good at it!! hahaha! She's gonna die when I see her Thursday - she really couldn't believe I made it to my last appointment, let alone this one. Well, I do still have about 24 hours to go into labor. :) Crossing my fingers! I ate more pineapple tonight too. Ok, gonna clean up a few things and get to bed...or ready for bed since TIm won't be home till 10:30. night!

Okay, so nothing last night, what about today...still nothing?!?! Maddy is upstairs napping right now. Cynthia was here today, she scrubbed Maddy's bathroom for me and did about half the laundry. I am so greatful. I have about an hour and 15 minutes before I have to get Maddy up, so I am going to try and get some more laundry done and see if I can put my feet up a bit. My appointment tomorrow is at 10:10, what time is yours? I got lucky, Julie had to cancel her dental appointment for tomorrow morning, so she volunteered to take Maddy so I could go alone. Well, I had better get moving if I want this stuff done before the kid gets up. Talk to you soon.
