Mcbee, congratulations! I can't wait to hear your birth story. Kimmer, that's great news about Brady. As for me, I may be having a c-section on Thursday, as baby is starting to measure small. I also had a bit of a scare last week, as I suddenly started bleeding (wasn't very much, and was brown- so old blood), but it scared me nonetheless! I was at work, so my boss didn't want me to cab to the hospital and called an ambulance. I think the nurses thought he'd overreacted, as it wasn't considered an emergency, but I was glad to get checked over. I ended up having an u/s and a bpp that day because they wanted to rule out an abrupt placenta (which they did), and baby was measuring around the 10th percentile. I had my regular growth u/s and bpp scheduled for the following day, so was told to go anyway. They as well noted that baby was in the 10th-12th percentile. Anyway, I went back to the hospital Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for NSTs, which came back great, as well as the bpps that I had Wednesday and Thursday. I had my regular o/b appointment this morning, and the dr. suggested that based on what percentile the baby is in on this week's u/s, I'll go into the hospital for a c-section. I'm really nervous as I'll be exactly 36 weeks, and as of last week the baby was only measuring about 4.5lbs. I'm afraid that the baby won't be mature enough. Also, nobody can tell me why I was bleeding, and nobody can explain why I produce small babies (ds was born at 38.5 weeks, weighing 5.5lbs). So, it's been nerve-wracking these past few days!

babeedust2all I'm sorry to hear you are afraid the baby won't be mature enough. I am glad to see that your doctor is being very proactive, so many women have complicated pregnancies and their doctors take them too lightly. I am sure everything will be fine and your baby will be very strong! I just remind myself that everything happens for a reason and your baby may just want to be with it's mommy now!

Kimmer23 - December 16

babee - hang in there! I'm sure your lo will be just fine at 36 weeks. I know he/she will be small, but he/she should also be fully developed. I would trust your doc - they sound like they know what they are doing. I'll be thinking of you :)

Mcbee congrats!!! i have been in labor for 2 days now but i am not progressing enough for them to keep me at the hospital so i have been in total misery!! today my hubby and i had ww3 becuase of my hormones, i didn't even mean to but i went nuts but he was not helping either, he was antagonnizing me and that didnt work out well for me today. he's never normally like that, but i dont know today was just weird. I drank caster oil last night......UGH!!!! it was terrible, i finally just got the taste out of my mouth at noon today, that really sucked. besides the contractions that it gave me for only about three hours, it just made me have the runs like none other i am kinda glad tho cuz i needed to go lol. i even had s_x tryin to get my baby out, but nothing seems to be working, i guess i will just have to wait it out, i have been really upset today and cried for about an hour and that has been giving me contractions, so we will see what happens tonight, maybe i will have the baby soon. I have really really dropped, so hopefully its soon!!! i am so ready to meet my baby that i can almost taste it!!!!! I was told that if i went into labor that i would be able to have a natural birth if i went in and i was far enough along so hopefullly i go into labor n i am able to just mess around until i can't stand the contractions nemore, and just go in and have the baby, well i am gonna take me a nap, but have a good day ladies!!!

Congrats McBee on your bundle of joy! Babeedust-Sorry to hear you have had a scare, and best of luck with your c-section. Misscrotts--Here's to your labor speeding up, I am sure you are SO ready. As for me, went tor U/s this morn and baby had flipped breech again. Doc measured baby and he is in the 95th percentile, he weighs 6lbs 12 oz and has 4 weeks to go. Doc said that with my size and baby's size, we will have to do a c esction in a couple weeks. I had lost a pound this week (go figure?) and my gestational diabetes has been under control (my numbers are normal without any insulin). So I go next Tuesday for NST and to schedule the c section and then the following Tues I have an u/s and amnio to test Kellen's lungs. I am SOOO excited that my boy will be here sooner than the 16th. Take care!

Anybody else having problems with their shins? Some days I feel like someone has kicked me numerous times over and over again.

E586467 - December 17

stacyk sorry about the pre-eclampsia but at least your able to wait til 37wks for the c-section. A friend of mine had it soooo bad that they delivered her baby girl at 28wks, bubs was surprisingly ok but she hadn't grown much since 23wks. babeedust sorry to hear you're having complications but if your doctor thinks bubs will be fine despite being small, then try not to worry too much. Maybe bubs just wants to come early to help unwrap the pressie's on christmas day :) misscrotts hang in there, sounds like you won't have long to wait. cyndilea that's great about the gestational diabetes, & how exciting that you get to pick your babys birthday. lovncr I haven't had any problems with my shins but my feet & ankles ache REALLY badly most of the time. I've only had slight swelling in them so the pain must be caused from the extra weight & the fact that I don't get to sit much (3yr dd & 18mth ds literally keep me on my toes). As for me I've had SO much pressure in the pelvis that I'm now walking like an injured duck lol. I've also been having lots of irregular contractions but will be surprised if s/he comes too soon as dd & ds were both late & I still have 3wks to go. I'm 37wks tomorrow so at least if I do go into labour soon I'm considered term. Oh wow I just realised I could have bubs any day now lol, hadn't really thought about how many weeks I am til JUST then.

jeni23 - December 17

babeedust2all - December 18

Well, I'm happy to report that I don't need to have a c-section today, as baby has grown over the past two weeks. My u/s this morning showed that baby is now weighing between 4lbs 15oz and 5lbs. 7oz. This is in the 12 percentile (although it was in the 30th percentile two weeks ago), the dr. just wants to see that it's still growing. Hopefully this will buy me another week or so, which would bring me up to term if I needed to deliver early. Jeni, I'm sorry to hear that you're having contractions. How far along are you? Hopefully they'll get them to stop, and it will get you another few weeks. I hope everyone's doing well!

misscrotts - December 18

Well i am still pregnant.......my contractions are still coming and whatnot but this baby is just not budgin. I figure even if i go to my c section date i only have three more weeks to wait, so the baby will come sometime in the next three weeks. i am 36 weeks today, and i am really glad to finally be so close to the finish line i have been having no more issues i have a dr appointment on monday, and hopefully the dr will say i am dialated more and then i can just go ahead and have the baby next week, but as long as its not on thursday right lol. that would be hellacious to have the baby christmas day, i dont wanna have a christmas baby. that would be cool to have the baby next week, but not on christmas, and i'd like to make it to new years, so if i have the first baby born in the hospital i get all that free stuff!!! i am most looking forward to the meal that i am going to get however the hospital, its a celebratory meal that you can order resturaunt style steaks and whatnot my friend that had her baby on the 12th had one with her hubby, and she said the food was great! i am exited to have a meal with my hubby after having the baby cuz god knos we wont be going out for quite awhile lol. They never offered that with any of her older children, or my first one, so i am pretty exited to get to do that. Well, i am gonna go ahead and get some errands run, hopefully everyone has a good day.

Kimmer23 - December 19

Hi girls! jeni - sorry to hear about the contractions and the sickness. I hope you are doing better now, and I hope you make it to 38 weeks :) misscrofts - good luck having your little one...either noe or at your scheduled c-sec. babee - I'm so happy for you that your lo is still growing - that's great! I hope you can hang on at least a little longer so that the baby is nice and healthy. How is everyone else doing? I had my strep B test today and my first cervical check (36 weeks today). The baby's head is engaged, and I'm 1 cm dilated and 80% effaced. So, it could be soon, or it could be not...my doc said that my cervix is ahead for how far I'm along, so there's a better chance that I'll be a little early. I'm ok with him coming early (not too early), but a long as I'm full term, I feel good about it. I'm excited - this is really happening...I'm going to have a baby :)

mrsvalenti - December 19

I'm 36 weeks today, also...and had my first exam. I'm "soft" and 2-3 CMs dilated...so this makes me pretty excited. The baby is head down, too! Yay!

1stTimeMum - December 20

Hi girls..Congrats to everyone who had their babies :D I am sorry I haven't posted for awhile been extremely busy and so tired..I am now 37w4d and everything is going well..I have a anterior placenta but can have a natural birth as it isn't in the way and he is definitely a boy as he showed off at the 32 week ultrasound..At my 37 week check up he was head down and still is as he gives me so much pressure when I am walking..All prepared now for his arrival..Hope everyone going well and will have a nice Xmas... Kirsten

austynsmommy - December 20

Good morning ladies. Well I had Andrew on the 18th. It was such a hard labor. I went into labor on the 17th at 8:30pm and didn't have him until 2:10 on the 18th. I was stuck at 3cm for the whole time until about 1:50. I only had to push twice. Well I need to get off here and feed him. Amanda

bbdreams - December 20

Congrats austynsmommy!!! When was your due date? You had Andrew a bit early right? I'm due Jan 13th and wondering if I will last that long(or knowing my luck go over lol).

austynsmommy - December 21

I was supposed to be due on the 5th but after I had him and looked him over they said that he looked like a 34 week old instead. He is so small. He weighs 5 pounds and 4 ounces. And 17 inches long. Poor little baby has no fat on him. Good luck everyone.
