Lucky, that sucks that you are overdue. Hopefully she will make an appearance before you would have to be induced. If not, then you and I may be having babies on the same day. I am so excited and can hardly wait for Thursday to get here!!! Did you walk today? Samantha, how about you, what is going on? Any contractions? Has anyone heard form CeeCee?

Well I went to the hospital on Friday night. I had horrible cramping for about 2 hours straight. I couldn't even move. I couldn't stand, I couldn't sit, I couldn't do anything. All I could basically do was be on all 4's with my b___t in the air. That was the only position I Could stand to be in. So after 2 hours of that I decided to just go get checked. I didn't think it was time, but I jut wanted to get checked just to make sure everything was okay. They ended up keeping me over night. They gave me a shot of demerol for the pain because the cramping wouldn't let up. well after the cramping let up I started having contractions every 3 - 7 minutes so since they weren't consistent they let me go and said it was probably early labor. So hopefully something happens soon. I spent all day saturday sleeping because of that shot. It took me out.

Samantha, well atleast you know something is starting to happen. It sucks though that you had to go through that. I will find out tomorrow what time I need to be to L&D for my induction on Thursday. I can hardly wait! Tomorrow my hubby is coming home early so we can have a last outing with our daughter before the big day. We are going to the park for a picnic and they have a wading pool that will be open that Madalyn loves in the summer.

Aww that sounds fun! Spending the day out. You're almost gonna have your baby! I bet you're super excited! I hope everything goes good for yoU!

Hey ladies. I am so wired tonight. I can't stop doing things, I am definitely nesting. I feel like everything has to be done tonight. I am even washing all the 3-6month clothes. My hubby thinks I am crazy and just wants me to come to bed, but I can't. I just have to get the bottles sterilized before I can sleep... and the soothie binkys... and all the parts to my b___st pump. I can't stop thinking about what my labor will be like this time. From what I remember about my daughters birth, the IV placement and the pain in my b___t during contractions were the worst part. Then afterward it was the healing from my two 2nd degree tears and the nipple pain from b___stfeeding that was so awful. This time I know to ask to have my epidural adjusted if it isn't quite right, and hopefully, I won't tear as bad, or at all. I also know more now about b___stfeeding and proper latch that I think that will be better too. It is so strange to me to think that sometime on Thursday I will be in labor and then we will have two kids! I have some 3D images of Nathan, so, I pretty much know what he looks like, but it is so much different when they are in your arms and you see them in living color. Everyone that I know that has had two children v____all has told me that the 2nd one goes faster and is a bit easier. I really hope that is the case for me. Not that my first was super long. I was in labor for 11 and a half hour, and that includes and hour and a half of pushing. I would be happy if the pushing part was dramatically shorter. I want to be one of those women who get the baby out in three pushes, is that too much to ask?? Anyway, where is everyone?

How is everyone? MJ I know what you mean about the nesting. Well I'm one day past my due date. I have an appointment at 3 today, so I'm hoping that she breaks my water or something. I brought my bag to work with faith that I will be going into labor today. I am so ready. I don't know how much more of being pregnant I can take. It's getting really rough.

CeeCee, I hope she does something to help you out. I feel your pain. If she doesn't admit you today, she will probably schedule you for induction in the next day or two. My daughter got up at 5:55am this morning, so I changed her and put her back to bed. I tried to go back to sleep, but I couldn't stop thinking about EVERYTHING. At about 6:30am I gave up and went downstairs to get some Cheerios and some juice. No sooner than I got situated on my bed to watch the news, did Madalyn come back in my room and tell me she was poopy. I just about cried. All I wanted was to have a couple of hours this morning to myself and watch the news in peace. Instead, I am on my laptop watching Dora... I can't stand Dora!! The only thing worse than Dora is Diego. I am just happy that my hubby is leaving work early and meeting us at the park about 2:30pm, so atleast I will get a break today. Tomorrow and Wednesday the nanny is coming. She is going to help me scrub my house from top to bottom and do any last minute things before the baby comes. Wednesday night my mom will be here by 10pm to stay with Madalyn while my hubby and I are at the hospital with Nathaniel. If I go in on Thursday, I should be released Saturday afternoon. Lucky and Samantha, what are you two up to?

hey ladies, so i called the doctors today to see about scheduling me to be induced. and the lady says my doctor is out so the oncall doctor wants me to go in today to the fetal a__sesment ultrasound place just to make sure the fluid levels are good and just check to see how the baby is doing. then that they will reschedule me for thursday. I said cant they just induce me?? She said well the doctor wants you to see Tawnya on Wednesday so she can check you out and then schedule you to be induced, she said but i dont know if she wants to see you or just schedule u i will call you back soon but still go to the ultrasound. CANT THEY JUST INDUCE ME!!!!! my doctor made it sound easy oh if you dont have her this weekend just call and they will schedule u to be induced. Of course he has to be on vacation :(

Lucky, I am so sorry. :o{ For some reason things just aren't easy sometimes. One would have thought that your OB would have made note in your chart stating that it was alright to induce you. Did they check your chart for any notes?? Also, why the hell didn't he tell you he was going on vactation?!?! That is not right to just leave you hanging like that. I would call the office back and have them look in your chart for any instructions. As for me, I am still waiting for a phone call as to what time on thursday. I called the office this morning and left a message for the nurse to make sure he doesn't forget me. I am not going to be home this afernoon, so I have set up all our calls to go to my cell so I don't miss the call. I swear if I don't hear anything by 4pm I am going to lose my mind. I hate being left to wonder. On top of that the freakin' phone keeps ringing and getting my hopes up that it is my OB's office and ofcourse it's telemarketers. I am so tired, I can't take much more of this.

Okay, so I heard from my OB's office and I am definitely on for Thursday. I just have to wait for them to call me with a time. It may be Thursday, last minute before they call. I wish I had a time set, so I could plan wether I had the day at home or not. Oh well, this is better than nothing. Lucky, has there been any resolution yet with your induction? Samatha, how are you feeling today? CeeCee, any news? I want to know what happened at your appointment?!?! I hope I didn't miss anyone, it is just the four of us left now right? Sashasmama, I'm sorry I didn't respond to your post the other day. I didn't notice it until today. I was having a really c___ppy day, but all is well now. My actual due date is the 24th, but this Thursday, the 17th is my BIG DAY! :o}

Hi girls. So is everyone now being induced? I've ben on and off here so sporadically I'm out of the loop big time. I'm due the 31st but not scheduled to be induced.

Hi girls! I know you are all sick sick sick of being pregnant but it is almost over and soon you will be posting (HILLARY I will be happy to post for you) your birth stories and so excited for you new little ones - I am sorry I have been a ghost lately I amm just super busy with Megan - here it is 330 and I have yet to take a shower and better hurry up before my dh gets home...LOL ....I just wanted to share with anyone who is nursing or planning on nursing - this time by day 3 I was ready to give up after the pain of an unexpected c-section I didn't want my b___st/nipples hurting too. Megan and I were not doing well with the nipple shield and my bleeding cracked nipples were on their last leg! My sweet smart mother went on the search for anything that would bring me relief - she came back with nipple cups (medela makes them) and soothing gel pads that help with swelling and the best nipple shields ever!!! Only they weren't technically nipple shields they were NUK nipples for bottles stage one slow flow - they are kind of a tall nipple compared to playtex and such - I placed this nipple over my real nipple and Megan latched on correctly and within seconds I could see the milk flowing through the nipple and it was pain free I have finished my first week of using these nipples and I am completely healed and I put little Megan on my b___st and she latched on perfectly and I nursed her pain free it was great - if anyone wants to see a picture of the nipples I am talking about i will be happy to send some photos.....just don't throw in the towel so quickly I almost did and would have regretted it. Hang in there girls!!!
