Cors- Thanks for the prayers. I found out this morning that they are going to do a C-Section on her today. I'm excited to meet her little man, but I am nervous because it's surgery you know? I know she will be fine though. Hey, for what it's worth, I think your daughter's name is beautiful, and you should not let your friend call her MiMi.

Morning girls! It's FRIDAY!!!! Yay! I have a lot to do before my appt. this morning and then I'll be out pretty much all day. Same for tomorrow. I will check in when I can though. KOLLEEN, that is so cool, I totally forget that we were on the exact same schedule almost! I found out I was pregnant either Halloween or Nov. 1....I can't remember for sure now which day I took the test for sure. Then I found out we were having a girl on Feb. 15 (so almost valentine's day) and am due July 4 as well! NEWLYWED, yes I am so stoked for today's appt. but I think the next one will be the one I'm really looking forward to. It seems that the 37 week and on appointments are more involved. I really don't think I'll go early...I worried so much about preterm labor this whole pregnancy that I now figure I'd go past my due date if my dr. would allow it, lol :) SASHASMAMA, man people really are touchy on these forums I swear! I don't know if I could stick to making my own food, but it is definitely the best option from what I've read. I know at some point I'll probably break on the fast food, but really I can't stand McD's even though I eat it once in a while. It's only because we have one 2 blocks away and there have been a few times this pregnancy where I was so hungry and had nothing edible in the house so I sent Jessie there as it was fast and cheap. Everytime I eat it I feel physically ill though. Anyways, I love you boy's name!!! I had a boy list before I knew for sure we were having a girl and Evan and Ethan were two of my favorites, oh and Ian too. CHARLI, hang in there girl and pray for the best. I hope your fiance can come home sooner but know you are a strong woman and can do this all and be a wonderful mother to Brooklynn. Well, I'm off to shower and do some work. I'll check in later and let you know about my appt...it may not be until tonight though.

i went to my ob yesterday- they gave me two shots one to slow the contractions again & one for the lungs also they are doing a culture for my UTI again to see if they could figure out why the meds aren't getting rid of the UTI's ive been having. she checked me im 3 1.2 cms & 80% enfaced. she thinks hes about 6 lbs 3 oz already & looking at 19 inches long. so im excited ive been cramping. the other day when i was at l & d--they did another straight cath & i was bleeding a bit throughout the day from it yesterday. ob said that was normal but if bleeding got heavier or anything to call & go get checked. it was just when i wiped and its gone now. thats about it for now; when i get a break from work ill update some more. =] ---oh yah i think i got the flu =[

Anyone having sharp shooting pains in their v____a, or cramp like pain in that area? What is it?

KENDRA, wow! It sounds like you have a big boy in there! So if you went to 40 weeks would he weigh like 10 lbs??? lol! It's good that your docs are doing something to help give you comfort because it just sounds like you are in a loooooooong, slow labor :( Sorry it's been like this but you seem to be progressing right? 3.5 cm and 80% is more than it was before, right? CEECEE, it seems I've read a lot about shooting pains in the v____a on these forums so I think it is pretty normal torward the end. Pressure from the baby and whatnot, but call your doc and explain to the nurse and see what they say. Sometimes they want to check you out just in case. OK, 1 hour till I leave for the doctors! I'm guaranteeing that it will be like all the others, but i really am praying for an ultrasound. I just want to see her again as it's been so so so long since i had one it feels like. I just think she will probably wait and only do one scan though and it will be like 38 weeks to check for growth and see about induction.

Hi ladies.. CeeCee i am. i had my 35 week appt today and he said thats normal, that it couod be braxton hicks and the baby putting pressure on us.. He says i am measuring a week ahead and that next week at my 36 week check up we will start doing exams to see if her head is down and if im dialated at all. so im excited now i go every week. She has not dropped yet but there is still time he he..

TINA, just wanted to say congrats on your last day of work today!!! Isn't this the last day and then your leave starts? How exciting! :) Well, ok I'm procrastinating....off to finish up stuff around here.

Sasha - my name is Tina - no biggie though ....LOL ...Megan means pearl and Vaughn means little (at least the on website I looked at) so her name pretty much means little pearl.....my husband happened upon the name and I just love it and Sasha - I also do not take my kids to McDonalds just because of all fast food I believe it to be the grossest but that's my own personal opinion....but they eat plenty of Burger King, Carl's JR and Del Taco...LOL so I am not sure I am really accomplishing anything by avoiding McDonalds but after seeing the doc_mentary Super Size Me I steer clear of that place - I feel that other places food taste like what beef is supposed to taste like - I am sure nothing is as good as organic - We went organic for a while but when my husband changed jobs we just couldn't afford it but it was great tasting food and was so fresh it truly was incredible - now that I will be off of work I plan to hit up the farmers market once a week for fresh produce. SAMANTHA - I am off work starting tonight so I am sure we can keep each other company when we can't sleep - I will post a thread if I am up so we can chat - I like chatting here than any other place - we are all for the most part nice to each other ..LOL......CEE CEE - I know everything is going to be great - one of our July Mommies had a c-section pretty early her due date was early July and she had her son April 15th but he is almost ready to be sent home....I have had those pains every now and then they hurt and are very uncomfortable....STEF - Good luck at the doctors I will be checking in for an update.....KENDRA =- good gried you are almost there 3.5 cm? wow - once you get to 4 they will keep you right? UTI's totally suck I sufferred from there repeatedly and they have let up since being pregnant which is weird to me.....STEF - YES YES YES finally I am free....LOL I will really miss the new friends I have made here but I will be bringing the baby in once she a couple of weeks or so......I am looking forward to the time off not only to rest but to finish up stuff I need to get done! I hope you get your u/s if not soon.....HILLARY - I have also started my once a week appts my next one is Tuesday at 1145 and we'll see if I am dilated at all - the girls at work say I have dropped already but I can't tell.....I see myself everyday...LOL ok girls I'll check in later.

TINA! i must ask you something .. maybe u can help.. well i got a bratty sister in law that is really starting to freak me out .. the story is long n i might share it some other time.. but in this case i wanna ask u .. is it possible to be dilated but not open.. she claims she is 1.5 cm and is dilating.. BUT that she isnt open this is her 2ed child.. and it just doesnt make any sense to me i try going online to see if this can be possible.. its just that she is having this obsession n i really think its part of her post-partum depression. but it is possible to be closed by be 1.5 cm n dilated from the "inside" it doesnt click to me!!

KOLLEEN.. I'm curious to know why they are inducing u in june?

JULIA -I am no doctor by any means LOL but when a women begins to dilate her cervix is opening so to say that she is 1.5 and closed seems silly to me - she may still be thick as in not effaced in order to have your baby your cervix must be open or dilated to 10 cms and it must also be completely thinned out which is what I think happens as you dilate......don't let her get to you especially if she is one of those who always has to be right...LOL ......next time she says something like that say - really? well that's cool....some people just like to aggravate and aggitate....ignore them - freaks!

i just knew it i mean remember ive told you all that i got 2 sister in law that are preggo.. well this one thats being a brat is the one that is due a day after me.. but weird how now she claims she is 2 weeks ahead of me.. i really dont pay mind to it but this just really got to me cuz im like wow how far is she going to go.. she's being weird i mean she keeps thinking she is having a girl WHEN SHE IS HAVING A BOY!!! and in the ultrasound pic u can see his p___s!! im freaked out by her really.. but i knew that it was weird she didnt even sound so convincing to her self.. she keeps wanting to take my things as if she is having a girl and she keeps obsessing about it. and she says we should trade kids and all this .... ITS SCARY!! lol

just ignore her maybe she can go back on her meds once the baby is born ......LOL.....that is weird some people just always want what someone else has....shake it off!

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE!!!!!- im so excited i just got back from the drs and DIALATED only at 1 cent and im 75% effaced and lylee is at -1 station. now i know that i can be here for awhile, but i am alot further then i thought. i guess those contrctions that i have been having(the ones that are not very consistant) are actually doing something. i was totally shocked when he said that. now the sad news, some how i have gained 4 lbs in the last week. the rn said that its probably cuz im so swollen. so they will check me agian next week and then we will set the induction date!!! im really tired, i was up all night, im not sleeping good at all, so im gonna lay down before my friend comes. she is helping me shampoo my carpets
