Good afternoon everyone. I just got back from a little shopping with my other preggo friend. So my test went ok this morning, it was so long. I did get lucky though because they put me in a special room with recliners and a tv, and I was all alone so I could sprawl out. It was funny though because I went into the place and the lady was like um, we can't treat you until you pay something towards your existing bill. I didn't even realize it but I had a 700 bill from like 3 years ago with them. So I gave her 20 dollars, haha. The only wierd thing that kinda scared me was afterwards, I went to the mall with my friend and we were sitting in the food court and I got extremely hot and dizzy and had to sit immediately. The nurse who drew my blood told me that if I felt faint after the glucose stuff and the blood being drawn that I most likely have GD so I wasn't really too thrilled about that. But Luckily I didn't pa__s out or anything, I just had to get some cold water and sit for like 15 mins. After that I went to the Motherhood store and got a really cute top to wear at my shower, and bonus, it was on sale! HAHA Fred asked me to stop at the liquor store and get him a case of budweiser, so i went in and got the nastiest looks, I swear people were looking at me like I was the devil. So now I'm home and I'm drinking a venti decaf iced vanilla latte and it's amazing. I figure if I find out I have GD I might as well enjoy my last weekend of eating what I want. So I can't beleive Kashea had her twins alraedy. I hope they are doing good, I'll say a little prayer for her. And Disko it's good to see you back, we've missed you terribly. Ok well I gotta go tinkle something fierce, be back later!

Newlywed that is an awesome Idea about the text message when we go into labor or have the baby! I was out today so I wasnt really on much - well my friend stopped by and then after she left I went and got my pedi after all I just could NOT look at my feet anymore lol It was nice I got a french cause they seem to last longer that way. Disko I missseeddd you!! I took chas clothes shopping last week well on monday which was her last day of spring break she is no longer in the girls section now she shops in the juniors section but is a tiny size obviously cause she is 11 lol omg cramps cramps cramps thats all i have I am not really worried cause I dont have any spotting or leaks of any kind lol but I am getting more uncomfortable lately and every time i have to pee even if i just got the urge I instantly get the cramps like I could see if i held it dor a while but I don't. Ahh well anyway whats everyone doing this weekend? Anyway lemme know who wants to swap #'s or if you have my email you can email me maybe we should like buddy up with someone whos closest to us or something OR do it where the people who are due in the beginning of june buddy up with the people due late in the month .. I dont know whichever you think is best lemme know

I'm gonna call my doc on Monday, but I have an appt on Weds, so at the latest weds. I want another starbucks.

I have my next appt on monday :o( they are going to ask me about that EKG i never got done ... hmm o well.. Well as soon as you hear you Post ok! I never had starbucks ... I am feeling deprived haha

gabby - i know the look you got for the beer. With my dd I was buying some beer for my dh or a party or something, and this woman at the grocery store gave me the nastiest look I've ever seen. I wanted to kick her in the b___t - it's not like I was drinking it or anything! Can't a pregnant woman buy beer??? How stupid for them to a__sume it was for me - or you. When we were in highschool we sent a friend in to buy beer dressed up like a pregnant woman. hahahha....it worked too - the guy didn't card her or anything. :)

I am also totally exhausted - I think it's the anemia thing kicking in. Today I finally got around to buying the iron pills so I will have to start taking them and see if I get any better. I've been dizzy off an on and feeling nauseated in the morning - all things that could be related to the anemia as well as just regular old pregnancy things and my low blood pressure. All I want to do is sleep though! 9.5 weeks to go!!!! yay!!!

That is pretty funny .. I would get annoyed I know I would but i have no one to buy beer for lol so I shouldnt run into that one ... The other day I had a semi tight shirt on and I had alot ALOT of random people Look at my belly ... like stare lol I think they were trying to figure out if I was pregnant or fat - then today I was trying to explain to the guy doing my toes that they were long cause I couldnt reach them then he looked at me and goes well ok but you dont have to clip them just file them next time and i was like well I cant get near them and he just got quiet and I said cause Im pregnant and THEN he looks up and goes Oooo and started rambling on about his sister but first he looked at my midsection like for verification LMAO I guess he didnt notice.. i dont know I had a sweatshirt on

Ok my appointment went 'well' so to speak. I didn't do so hot on my nst. The doctor was more concerned than I was but said if that's normal for me and it's not changing anything they could back off a little (I did NOT want to go to labor and delivery for the dinky little contractions I was having) I'd be going to the hospital everyday if I followed the "come in if you have more than 4 or 5 contractions in an hour" guideline. So anyway he checked my cervix and said it was long but a little softer than he'd like it to be and kinda made a face. I guess he felt something funny because we ended up going to another room and he looked at it with a speculum, light, and these binocular looking things, kinda like the ones you look through when you go to the eye doctor. He thought my membranes were possibly bulging down into my cervix or it could just be more of the plug, but couldn't tell and didn't want to irritate it, so he sent me for an ultrasound. He drew me a little picture on the back of my chart as he was describing it LOL Everything was fine and he said I could possiby expect some more mucosy discharge. My ultrasound was so awesome hehe she took pictures for me and was like ok lemme do my job now. She always gushes about how cute he is and what good pictures he takes. I'll be putting some up on myspace/facebook shortly and he is deffinately his daddy's little boy. Maybe he'll get my eyes or something lol so anyway they're keeping me off work till I'm at least term and he was trying to figure out when that was. He was debating with himself between the 10th and 12th and I was like haha my daughter's birthday is the 12th, still debating, and I was like well I'm gonna take that off anyway so how's the 13th? He was way cooler this time, I guess maybe now I proved that something was wrong with me he was more concerned and sympathetic. Onward with the bedrest!

Ha ha, Sprinkles, I'm still at that "pregnant or fat?" stage too. I find myself wishing my stomach would just expand dramatically over night so I could stop having these awkward moments with strangers. Those who have the guts to actually ask me if I'm pregnant kind of quietly say it under their breath, I guess that's so if I wasn't pregnant they could say something like "Pregnant?! Oh no I said um... pageant. Have you entered in a beauty pageant? You are just so slimming..." Ha ha ha.

It's ok christie whine all you want! I swear I would sit on the phone with him and every other thing I said was baby I miss you!! I wouldn't let him get off the phone with me half the time even when I had absolutely nothing to say, I'd make him sit there and watch tv with me just so I knew he was on the other end of the line LMAO but at least it was something! Have you guys been away from each other yet? I was so hurt when he went home for thanksgiving and thought it would be horrible without him for the week. I did miss him a lot but it was also nice to have a little me time. Glad the twins are doing ok! Sounds like she was far enough along with them for them to be doing just fine after a little stay in the NICU. Sorry about the beer gabby! It's funny because I had to pay my doctor bill today. I had a $122 balance and never got the bill because my mail kept getting sent back to them for some reason. Hopefully the way you felt today was just a coincidence. When will you get your results back? fefer - that is too funny about dressing up your friend! You can be my iron supplement buddy :) Did they tell you what your iron level was? dawn - I don't know why being preggers prompts people to stare at our bellies! People always look at my husband, look at me, and look at my daughter and just kinda stare at us so I always wonder if they're thinking something like "I wonder if he knows that's not his kid" LOL I swear I always think the worst!

Aww .. well at least you dont have to go back to work with that lady ..this is not the time to be putting up with that c___p! I could just imagine that was uncomfortable though the whole visual of the speculum and goggles ..no goood!

OMG I wanted to slap her! I had my ultrasounds pictures and she was smiling and all looking at them and made some comment about his nose being wide......I mean is my kid supposed to have like a skinny, pointy caucasian nose? Come on

Lmaooo amanda! I thought I was the only one ! I know alot of people really are obviously pregnant at this point but for some reason it is like .. awkward with me and sometimes I think maybe it is just me thinking too much into it .. but I think to that maybe its becuase I am not skinny everywhere else on my body so it may be hard to tell if this is just a really big fat deposit or if i have someone in there lol I want to like get rid of the lil dent i have in the middle of my belly lol then I would be able to wear tighter shirts.. well to be honest once its warmer I am wearing them anyway lol I am pretty tattoo'd up so they stare ANYWAY may as well stop worrying about other people and start doing me right ?! They are having a tattoo convention here next weekend I am thinking of going to lol I wonder if people will look at me crazy like I hope she knows she ain't getting any ink from me all big and pregnant lol ! I already know Im not i am just going to watch thats all .. but typically in environments with people with a good amount of tattoos they dont stare at me for any reason so that is nice lol Kay ... I actually really laughed out loud on that last comment about people thinking that isnt his kid OMG just that when I read it I did not expect you to say that haha toooo funny see now THAT is the kind of stuff I think in my head ... O and I cant believe the u/s tech said his nose looks wide ! why would she even comment like that ...like the lady who said to me when she was doing my u/s 'O theres the baby's ear ...hmm all I see is her ears' I just looked at her then she quick shut up hahahahaa whats funny is her dad has big ears ..not huge but he shaves his head on top of it so they seem a lil more pokey outish haha so when she is born that will def be what I am looking at now LMAO

Your a mean belly judger!!! hahahaha I have an awekward belly its all down low but in the end I keep telling myself it's not that bad cause then I wont have high up stretch marks which is a MAJOR plus lol I dont mind under the belly b___ton ones but above the belly b___ton is a issue! Quazi is acting a lil stupid lately I wasnt sure if it was cause of the move or the pregnancy but he was growling at my friends son now yesterday not her but her son who is 19 and a boy - I think its strangers he has a issue with but he was never an aggressive dog however lately he has been a growling fool ... not to me though - However gabby I am the dominant one in the house so that may be why ...like with you and your hubby if your man is the dominant one then he may be more respectful or fearful of him then you and maybe that is why he is testing you ...I dont know but I know they respect ONE person in the house as the dominant one and in my house thats me lol little choice though eh ... I know one time he growled at chas or so I thought and I can flying through the room and gripped him up - now I dont do the flip thing I didnt know about that lol I literally grabed him by his throat and threw him up against a wall like a person I did that with a boxer I had once too cause she attacked quaz when he was a lil younger I couldnt get her off him she had him by the throat tugging at him I had to stick my hand in her mouth and pry it apart and then I just slammed her up against the wall and screamed in her face LOL she backed off from there on out though - then I found her an alternate home cause I didnt know that breed was THAT dominant with other dogs. You know with tank when your hubby is around you should start on a regular basis putting your hand in his dish when he eats and taking treats from him when he has them and all to reinterate that you get equal respect as your husband. I had a dog that used to p__s on himself too a pit bull but he was scared to death of me cause I would man handle him - One time he snapped at me cause he was eating my daughters doll and I went to take it from him and he growled so I really lost it on that dog I picked him up by his neck and tail and carried him into another room and threw him into his crate like a wild animal after that all he had to do was see me come home and if he knew he did something wrong he would drop his whole bladder .. I must have destroyed his manhood but I dont play around when it comes to snapping at me. So gabby did you want me to email you my number so I can txt you when I do go in or you can txt me when you do since your in PA too? lemme know

Oh and yeah if someone asked me if i was having twins they better hope their body is perfect lol cause if it isnt I would be sure to comment ...like "no Im only have one a girl... but you .. you look like your what...5 months? when are you due " hahahahahahaa I would get such joy out of that Oh the other day I am outside talking to my neighbor well I was on my stoop and he was in front of it and he is talking away and then I realize by my reflection in the people across the streets screen door that he could totally see my lower belly lol it was peeking out from under my shirt I quick fast tugged on it to pull it down hahaha my pants roll under my belly and my shirt rolls up over it - but that was embara__sing hahah I got all red in the face I could FEEL the heat in my cheeks haha You know what else .. my seat belt has been annoying lately not around the belly area but I guess cause it cant lie across my chest so much it slides off to the side and like cuts my neck .. I look like i have been roughed up or have a hickie on my neck everytime I get out of the truck lol I also notice now for day 2 when I get up from bed like at the edge of my pelvic bone I feel like my muscle sore or pulled or something then when I stand up i feel pressure there - its annoying!
