Good Morning Dawn!!! I got horrible sleep last night too. DH and I sleep on a twin sized bed at mmy brothers house...and its rather hard to get comfy...especially when DH spreads a out and practically pushes me off the bed!!! Sheeesh! I constantly have to tell him, Hello! Baby belly needs room!!! Anywho.. I was wondering...since a lot of us are still havign s_x at this point, are any of you waking up later at night with just absolute wetness down below? That happened to me last weekend after s_x, and this weekend again...you know like, a few hrs afer s_x, I woke up in the middle of the night jsut wet! It wasn't a sticky wetness either.... anyone else having this? Is it normal? Even when I woke up again this morning I was still wet again.....? weird...

I've got another ultrasound appointment this afternoon, I won't get the results until the 30th though. I'm a little worried about my due date. Is it normal for them to keep changing it? Every time I've been given an ultrasound (by my hospital) they change my due date to something different. Are they dumb or is she growing funny or what?

So I think I told you girls about the one girl who waited until my house went under a certain price to want to make an offer ( she is supposedly a friend but more like a shark) well she is txting me about my shower telling me the stuff on my registry is too expensive LOL why would you tell the person that - there is a 20 dollar diaper bag and like 2 dollar soap on there ... seriously how much cheaper do you want?

Sprinkles - April 19

Newlywed I havent had s_x so that is one subject I cant comment on ha ha WISH i could though! amanda they never change my date .. but they always tell me she is measuring exactly right - I know babies have growth spurts so thats probably all it is - I just didnt realize they change your due date because of that

newlywed0915 - April 19

amanda...sounds like our hospital is pretty fickle and kind of stupid. Lol- at my last ultrasound way back at 18 weeks, DS was measuring 3 days ahead, but they decided to keep the original due date because the baby goes through growth spurts. Usually if the dates are within a week apart, they aren't going to change your date...at least thats what my doc said... :-) How exciting-at least you get to see your LO! Dawn- that chick sounds like such a cheapa__s...tell her if things are too expensive-just not to get anything! Lol---$20 is nothing!!!! my gosh- what does she think--that you registered at the dollar store?!!! I would expect someone ot spend at least $20 at a baby shower!!! Shheeeeesh!

Dawn, thanks for starting a new thread -that other one was wayyyyyy too long! I really, really hope Quazi starts to feel better -I'm almost scared to read your posts since one minute it seems like he's improving and the next, he's sick again:( I hope it is just some kind of virus working it's way through his system....if he's territorial about his pedialyte (that's hilarious!), than that sounds like a good sign:) Kay and Disko, I'm also scared to read your posts 'cause it sounds like things are really starting to happen now -which is great, but kinda scary. Sorry you're both on bedrest/house arrest right now -but you're almost there! Christie, sorry I can't comment on the s_x thing either....although we've had s_x a few times since I've been pregnant, the thought of it really revolts me (I know that sounds horrible -poor Kirt) so it is far from a regular occurrence and we haven't had it in awhile -which is fine with me! Amanda, I'm not even sure if we 'met' yet....I think I was MIA when you started posting. My name is Pam, and my husband (Kirt) and I are expecting our first baby (a boy) on June 3rd. His name will be Kai Taylor MacCormack....and we're super excited! In other 'baby' news, I told you about my sis-in-law who had her little girl last Sunday, well they're doing fine, but another friend of mine who was expecting twins on June 5th, had them on Tuesday by emergency c-section! The boys are just over 3 lbs each and so far, so good -fingers are crossed. Another friend of mine who has gestational diabetes and is due mid next week was induced a couple of hours ago 'cause her baby boy is getting really big and the amniotic fluid is cloudy (don't know what that means), and another friend of mine is due in 3 days -so many babies!

eastcoast - April 19

Oh, and I almost forgot, I've been shopping like a crazy woman for the past couple of days and finally got everything on the list from the hospital for what we need to take -one thing they suggested is that you may want to take a nightshirt (if you don't want to wear the hospital shirt) in case you have a c-section and find the waistband of your pj's really uncomfortable. And today, we got up early and went to this huge 2nd hand baby stuff sale and got a 2 speed graco swing, an umbrella stroller and LOTS of baby outfits for $50 total -I'm so happy! I LOVE getting deals:)

newlywed0915 - April 19

I guess thats not a lot once u work out hte prices...lol...now I sound like a cheapa__s!!!I'm so bored!!!! Dh is at work till noonish today and I only have $6 to spend right now...so I can't even go shopping!!!!

newlywed0915 - April 19

Hey Pam! Wow!- sounds like you got some great deals!!!! Thats crazy that you've got all these babies being born around you...maybe you'll have your healthy bub sooner than later too! You'll definitely be prepared!!!! Well... We don't have s_x that often, but since we don't see each other during the week... its bound to happen.

Sprinkles - April 19

omg newlywed you are hilarious!! I know I thought to myself she can go to the dollar store and get me some garbage bags ... hahaha Thank you eastcoast he is a funny dog he dont like lil tyson dipping in his goods haha even though he dont want it! I have him in the living room and he is barking at people walking by so I am hoping that is a good sign too I was told to give him baby food chicken flavor ... I may have to mix that with water to get him to eat it

eastcoast - April 19

Dawn if Quazi is barking at people I think that's probably a really great sign. I can't believe that someone actually told you your registry items are too expensive -I think if I'd registered and that happened to me I probably would have laughed at them while they were saying it! But if she thinks they're too much, can't she just get you a gift certificate for where you registered in an amount she can afford so you can put it towards any items you don't get off your registry? And Christie, almost everyone I know is pregnant or having babies right now -it's nuts!!! Although (and this probably sounds weird), I'm hoping that Kai doesn't come early -if anything, I want him to be late so I can be sure he's fully developed and because Kirt is a high school teacher, so the farther into June we get the better -Kirt finishes teaching for the year late June and then he'll be off for the summer too. Although I'm really starting to get uncomfortable (34 weeks on Tuesday!), I figure there's only 6ish weeks left which isn't so bad. Since it's so lovely out today, I'm heading outside to weed some of my garden plots...while I'm still able to waddle around the yard;) I'll check back later!

Sprinkles - April 19

O girls I have to share - so I have my secret ways of verifing what mr wonderful is saying - an seems he did tell his chick - so FINALLY the truth BUT he told her he isnt sure its his hahahaha nice one eh

gabby509 - April 19

Hey girls. It is way too hot outside for me today. Yesterday hit 85 and today is supposed to hit 80 or so again. But you know of course since tomorrow is my shower, it's only gonna be 57 and overcast. Don't you just love how that always seems to happen. Well Amanda, I think it's odd that they keep changing your due date. Especially since the later you are in pregnancy the less accurate the ultrasounds are. When I was 20 weeks King was measuring 3 weeks ahead and they didn't change my date. Eventually he leveled out and now he seems to fluctuate between 2 weeks ahead and right on track. But my doc said they go through growth spurts just like kids, and it's normal for them to be up to a week or two ahead or behind. So I'm getting Really Really excited for my shower tomorrow. I'm like a mad woman checking the registry because the toddler carseat, the swing and the monitor still haven't been purchased, and if I don't get them, we'll have to shell out some money for them. But oh well, 30 of the 62 items on my registry were alraedy purchased, so I can't really complain. So this morning I woke up to a new TV in my living room. A 60 inch new tv! I was like Oh My God, where the hell did this thing come from. Well Fred bought it for my birthday, but he bought it used so he had to pick it up asap, haha so there's my early b-day present. And I told him he can just get me the pedicure gift cert and the nightgown for Mother's Day, haha. Newlywed, I don't really know about the wetness thing. I don't mean to scare you or anything but I'd be a bit concerned that it's amniotic fluid or something. I am no expert though, I haven't been too interested in s_x at all lately. I was gonna try to give it up on Thursday, but I was too tired. So my man just patiently waits, haha poor guy. Well I'm gonna paint my toe nails and finger nails for tomorrow, be back later! And Dawn, I hope Quaz and you feel better today. Your friend sounds like a cheap a__s. I don't think I've ever attended a baby shower without spending at least 50 on the present. And I'm kinda poor, so if I can afford 50, anybody can, haha.

gabby509 - April 19

Oh and did anyone read the post about the lady with PICA. The one that wants to eat Comet bathroom cleanser, yeesh! That would be really scary!
