Eek today is the big day. I'm so nervous. I'm getting ready to make my list of demands and questions. I'm trying to make back up plans like go in to labor and delivery twice a week for my contractions so I can have extra NST's LOL. I'll have my way somehow. I think I'm supposed to be stopping my meds in 3 days!! Of course the one day I get to go out in an entire week it's all cloudy and gloomy out :( hopefully it's at least warm. Again, I wish my appointment was early this morning so I didn't have to stress all day.

Im so bored!!!!!!!!!!!!!! arrrrrr!!!!!!!!! 17 more days of work...7-10 more weeks until the baby is here..........i'm so restless!!! I wish I had money to b__w on shopping right now. :-)

Hello! Im Back I had to return something this morning to sears then I went and mailed the welfare office alllll my medical bills to see what they will pay if any- and then I went to payless- My daughter this morning decides to wear yellow capris a pretty white pink and yellow shirt and then BLACK sneakers LOL i was like umm that looks stupid ..she then goes on to say she likes to run around in recess and she cant in flip flops or those other shoes I just got her cause after a while they hurt her feet ... soooo I went to payless and got her white airmax sneakers with pink trim and lil different color A's all over them so that will match her summer gear better .. and she will love them cause she is into Airmax sneakers lately. I am getting antsy too - but I am just waiting for my shower before I go empty my bank account haha 34 weeks today!! I am gettin you girlies a belly shot today as well .... kay .. everyday I come on i wonder if you will be here lol let us know how the appt goes! Its nice here today very nice and sunny out

The sun actually came out a little bit now. I don't know, I just don't feel like I'm going to go into labor before my scheduled date. I'll be trying to shortly though! I ALWAYS get my daughter's shoes pretty cheap at finish line when they go on clearance. Of course I haven't been there in a long time to check. If they say they won't stop my labor at 35 weeks like the one doctor said I'm going shopping Saturday and Sunday! I still need to get some baby stuff and oh my God, if I don't get some laundry done I'm not even going to have clean underwear. I swear to God, my husband has done ONE load of laundry and that's only because we ran out of towels and he didn't have a choice!

hahahahaha aww well get it in while you can ! I got the sneakers for chas and a pair of flip flops for me since it was buy one get one half off and the total was 24 dollars so I was ok with that cause when I was in sears they wanted no less then 40 dollars and she would have liked them half as much I think . I am real crampy today yesterday when I was getting up I think I pulled a muscle in my belly ..so now I am like sore in the middle

Good luck today Kay!!! I hope things go well. I had my Dr's appt yesterday (34 weeks) and things seem to be going well. Kai was measuring at exactly 34 weeks, he's head down (hope he stays that way!), my sugar and blood pressure were great and I gained 2 lbs -which I was really happy about since I had lost 5 lbs since I was sick and on antibiotics. So far I've gained 27lbs:) Because it's all in my belly, my back is starting to really hurt and Kai still loves to nestle his bum up in my ribs so they feel like they're about to explode. Other than that, I'm doing pretty good:) So (another) friend of mine had a baby on Sunday. She was induced Saturday morning and they ended up doing an emergency c-section Sunday morning since the baby's heart kept stopping. Once he was delivered, they discovered he had a blood clot on his brain (how do they not know these things beforehand???? esp since she was being really closely monitored the entire preg since she has gestational diabetes). So he's in the NICU and stopped breathing 4 times the first night, but seems to be doing ok now. She also managed to get some kind of lung infection following the c-section so they won't be letting her out of the hospital for a bit yet. I'm getting scared!!! Oh well, I'm hoping things go ok...time will tell I guess. Dawn, how's Quazi today??? Is he eating now? And Christie, I'd love to do lots of shopping too, only I can't walk around the mall for long periods of time without my back killing me. I think I've got most things I need and I actually did 4 loads of laundry today....all of Kai's clothes, sheets, towels, receiving blankets, etc. so I'm starting to feel somewhat organized.

wow eastcoast Im sorry to hear about your friend! What do they do when he has a bloodclot will they have to operate? Well I hope it all works out ok :o/ quazi is a stubborn fool - he wont eat or drink now .. I dont know anymore about him Im just letting him be .. if he gets thirsty or hungry enough he will eat and drink I been making him take his meds though so I get that down his throat but thats it. My lower back is killing me too it reminds me of how I would get my period I would get miserable pains in my back and that is what i had again last night

hey ladies - strangely enough, my body has been ok lately. The pelvic pain is getting better but I have the same pain as marisol - almost a left groin area pain. Feels like I pulled something and I have no strength in my left leg. I can't push anything with it or move it from certain positions. My back feels good so far too. Kind of weird. If I didn't have this ma__sive ball in front of me I wouldn't feel like I was pregnant - oh, and besides the baby movements and exhaustion. :) I'm sure it will come back though - probably tomorrow since I mentioned it! Sorry about your friend eastcost! That is so scary. I would just freak out if anything happened to my baby. Did anyone hear about that woman in Indianapolis who got shot in the tummy by a bank robber? She is 5 months pregnant with twins - and I guess she and the babes are ok! Totally scary stuff!! Who does that though??? Shooting a pregnant woman??? I hope they catch the guy.

good afternoon girls............... so i've been having the same uncomfortableness, aches and pains as all of you.... plus contractions and boredom to top it off! ugh. but i go to the doctor tomorrow for nst and amniotic fluid check so maybe just maybe they will take me off bedrest. *fingers crossed* today is mil birthday and woe is me ...... oh woe is me...... sheesh i've never met anyone so negative and pitiful in my life. freddie and taylor went yesterday and ordered a super nice cake for her... it's white cake with fresh strawberries in the middle and whip cream frosting and so freddie went and picked it up today and it looks really pretty and she was like 'oh i hope you guys didn't get me a cake cuz i'm not supposed to eat anything like that' which is a lie she just wants to be pitied..... i was like wtf!!!! anywho i gotta take a shower - ttyl

Holy c___p! I'm going in next Monday (may 5th) for an amnio at 9am. After the procedure they'll stick me on a monitor for a bit then send me home for a couple hours while they wait on the results. If they come back positive for his lungs being mature I'll be having him THAT DAY!! Oh my God I'm so excited and so nervous at the same time! I'm gonna be going absolutely nuts waiting on the results, but I think I have a pretty high chance since I've had those steriod shots. It's something I hav to research. Even if it comes back negative, they'll do my c-section the following week which is what I wanted. I also don't have to take my meds anymore and they wouldn't stop my labor sooooo I'M FREE!! I'm already doing my first load of laundry. Tomorrow I'm going shopping to buy some things and I have so much to do around the house. I need to get some newborn clothes. My daughter never wore them, she was straight into the O-3 month size, but he'll be around 7 pounds so I'm going to get a few packs of onsies. Ahh I'm so scatterbrained right now! It's only 12 days away!

wow kay!! how exciting! :) Don't work too hard in the meantime! I'm so jealous! As much as I want to have my baby now - I have lots to do before June!

Wow kay I bet you feel good to be able to do all those things around the house that have been eating at you! soooo close now !!! you are free!!! well you earned it on bedrest all this time :o)

Disko I really dont like miserable people like that - you get them something and they are never happy but had you not got it she would have complained too like you cant please them! umm and the cake sounds delicious lol

fefer - I will trade bodies with you. I was amazed to come home and my husband had already started doing th laundry. I could use your ache freeness to do it. I get worn out super easy and I know part of it has to do with sitting around so much. I get tired just going to my appointment. dawn - sounds like you got a good deal on those shoes. I'll be happy when I can come on here and actually say I went out and bought something lol disko - your mil always sounds like such a bundle of joy. I don't think anything you do will make her happy.....unless you come across some prozac,crush it up, and find something to slip it in that she wouldn't notice. eastcoast - I'm glad your appointment went well, and sorry to hear about your friend. Maybe they can send her home with an apnea monitor since he stopped breathing a few times. I'm going to be going nuts next Monday. I'll come home and sit next to the phone with my bag packed thinking am I having my baby today am I not having my baby today?

Oh I also learned today that I have an anterior placenta which I thought was wierd because I've never had any trouble feeling movement. When I told my husband all this when I got home he looked pleased, happy, and scared all at the same time lol
