Congratulations eastcoast!!!! Just popped in to see how things are going... for the life of me I cannot stop cleaning... Every time I sit down I notice something that needs to be cleaned and can't resist the urge to clean it! I'm wearing myself out!! I also think I might be getting some mild period cramps along with my contractions... Nothing really painful just slightly uncomfortable. It probably doesn't mean anything but it would be nice if it did :)

Wow Pam!!!! Congratulations!!! what grate news! Kai was a big boy, just a we ALL thought!!!How wonderful! Please get some rest and get back on here as soon as you are ready to tell us all the details!!! Can't wait to see pictures!!!! Heather- at least you've made SOME progress! 50% effaced and 2 cm ? I had a nice 2 hr nap... ahhh... now I feel like baking...so maybe I'll have batch of cookies done for DH by the time he gets home. Once again Pam, Congrats!!!!!

you know christie, I keep wanting to bake stuff myself but then by the time I get around to having the time - I'm too tired. :) I did make banana bread the other night. MMM! Well Amanda, I hope you're in progress.:) would be nice wouldn't it? Disko never texted me back - I wonder if she's having her baby!!?? I think you all are gonna go earlier than me! Well, maybe not you Christie - you're at the end of the month - but man, I thought for sure I'd have gone by now. :) You know what I hate the most is the anticipation, the waiting, the suspense. It's killing me! I'm not very patient. :)

christie... I was 40% effaced at 32 weeks and was 1cm dilated since 36 weeks.. now im at 50% and 2cm... Im going to do everything I can to dilate more so they will set my june 16th date... Im not sure what "favorable " means but doc said they will set that date if my cervix is favorable lol I a__sume that means if i show consistent dilation... so far I have so lets hope it keeps up.

oh... I have had a baking urge too... I went and got muffin mix today yumm!

oh yum, I LOVE bannana bread!!! I dunno, maybe the baking urge is part of the preggo urge...lol.. I don't usually bake that often. But then again, I havent had a working stove of my own since the second month of our marriage until now....hahahaha. Well Heather- I think a favorable cervix means soft...?Fefer, you're right- I will most likely be the LAST one to give birth! Plus I just read on someones amniotic fluid thread that if you have a lot of amniotic fluid its harder for the baby to engage because he's still somewhat afloat? The U/S tech pointed out that I stilll have a LOT of amiotic fluid left.... oh well. Fefer, I have a feeling you will have that baby within a week. If Disko isn't the next one, I think you are... or maybe Amanda, if she doesn't stop cleaning!!!!!:-) I was talking to my sister and she mentioned that her water broke with both of her pregnancies...and we thought that was interesting- since it supposedly onky happens in 12% of pregnancies. I wonder if my water will break on its own then...?WHo knows....

I'll be 36 weeks on Saturday! yahoo! I know you all already reached that marker, but now I feel somewhat "closer" in the birthing range..since it will be 1 week till I'm considered "full term". Buuut I'll probably go late...since I was a week late myself...and all my other siblings except my little sister were late....so thats 3 of us late. I've gotta get ready to go to a business meeting with DH tonight ...so much for baking those cookies tonight! maybe tommorrow! I'll pop in later!

Yay Pam!!!!! I'm so happy for you and DH. You guys must be thrilled to have your little boy home with you. I can't wait for my turn. I've been trying to rest all day to get this stupid bp down, and I've been peeing in a bucket all day for that stupid 24 hour urine screening. I think my doc has a strong feeling that I'm developing preeclampsia because she kept saying yesterday at my appt, well I hope he comes out on his own soon or else we may have to induce. So hopefully this urine screening will give them a better idea of what's going on. I was having contractions after my exam yesterday and was thinking that it might be the day but they have completely stopped and have not returned today. Oh and I was only 1 cm dilated yesterday so no progress from 2 weeks before when I was checked. I am wondering if I'm gonna end up with a c-section because he doesn't seem to be dropping at all either. She said he's way up there, and trust me I still feel the little bugger in my ribs. But anyways, tomorrow I gotta go to the hospital for bloodwork and then to the dentist, blah! So Fefer, I think me and you are the only 2 other ones due in the beginning of the month. I'm due the 7th. Well Heather, you're not too far behind being due on the 14th or the 16th. I'm so ready to meet him though. I was telling Fred yesterday that mother nature has a funny way of working, by the time you get to be full term you are so uncomfortable with being pregnant that you are happy when labor strikes, haha. Dawn, Fred and Violet are geminis! You know that whole double personailty thing.

I've been baking a lot the past week or so but now I've moved onto cleaning since my grandma has diabetes and I feel bad making all these sweet things around her. Even worse because she doesn't take it very seriously and often eats a lot of it anyways. Cleaning is a win win, everyone loves a clean house! Hey newlywed, I thought 38 weeks was full term? I'll be 37 weeks tomorrow, if that's considered full term I've got some spicy foods to be cooking :P

no news from Disko- maybe we shoudl text her...? yes 37 weeks is full term. Some places even say 36 weeks is, but the majority say 37
