Chris you and Robyn may have babies on the same date! Good Luck girls! Had my 37th week ap today and dr did a swab test that was very uncomfortable .Holy c___p she was feeling the baby by squeezing around, and boy i didn't like that one bit. She told me to relax, so how can I do that when it hurts like heck? Baby has been kicking and punching ever since. Anyone leaking yet? I sure have. I found some super comfy Medela sleeping bras on Amazon. They are sleeping bras, but i might wear them anytime . They also stretch if my bbs decide to go larger. We are so having babies soon! March is coming up fast!! Erica

Congratulations on the good but painful appointment Erica! You're coming up soon. And yes I've been leaking like crazy. Mostly at night-- I think I lay part way on my nipple somehow. One night I had colostrum running down my arm and it freaked me out-- it felt so nasty. I sleep without a bra because I am deathly afraid of thrush so I keep the nipples as dry as possible. Once the real lactating starts, though, I won't have that luxury... sigh. The sleeping bras look extremely comfy, though. I definitely want one. Motherhood has one online for $9.99 too! Good price.

Wow, that's a lot of leakage, Sarah! I haven't had any. I can get a few drops if I squeeze, though. Dh thinks it's gross, but I find it rea__suring. I'm gonna check out those sleeping bras, Erica. The sports bras I've been sleeping in just aren't cutting it support-wise anymore. - April

Oh man I could probably feed a newborn now with the quant_ty of colostrum I get if I squeeze my nipples. I could bottle and sell the stuff. I find it gross myself but it doesn't bother DH-- he thinks it's cool. Weirdo.

Sarah21, thanks for the advise. I did end up calling my doctors office and the midwife on labor hall told me to go up to the hospital. My husband took me and sure enough I was having active contrations that were not causing me to dialate so that was a good thing, but I did have to get a shot of Breathin and if you have never had that then you are lucky. I had to get that shot when I had preterm labor with my first two kids and when I showed up at the hospital for my version with my last pregnancy. I was in labor then too. That medication is administered with a small needle but the medication its self stings soooooooooo bad. It helped but hopefully it doesn't cause my body to not go into labor when its time, because thats exactly what happened with my first two pregnancies and I had to stay pregnant for 2 extra weeks. It should be just fine. Thanks for your advise!

Wow, not a lot of activity on here today! I just got back from my weekly BFP and NST. Baby Jack is doing great in the movement and heart rate dept, but he's still small - 5 lbs, 10 oz and 13th percentile. I have to start going in twice a week now. (*sigh*) Next time, they'll listen to the umbilical cord on doppler to see if the flow through it is good. For once, I'm actually not that worried. I think I've finally let go of the idea I have any control over when and how he's born. It's gonna happen how it happens, so I may as well relax. I'm 70% effaced and still not dilated at all. Happy Wednesday, everyone! - April

April your funny! I twinkle when I sneeze! Not a starting day kind of thing. It just happens spontaneously. Sorry that here are tumble weeds b__wing on this forum today! We have been battling an ice storm here in the Mid Atlantic for over 24 hrs and on top of this I have been driving to work and ice skating in parking lots! Nice weather to be pregnant! Anyway, i hope everyone is doing marvelous and keeping those babies safe and sound. Good luck to Kristin on the ap today. Erica

Hey chickas.. thought Id check in. Had a biophysical fetal profile and a NST test today. Kayden did wonderfully.. he was a model baby. He did his kicks and his breathing and pa__sed the nst with flying colors.. WOOHOO!! My doctors appointment went well, the concerns I had with my due date are much better, and we talked about the c sectiona nd what would happen if I were to go into labour by myself. My bp was really good at 108/58.. things were good. I am in a lot of pain though.. this baby of mine is puts soo much pressure on my b___t and my cervix its not funny. Takes my breath away. I hope everyone is doing wonderfully. ROBYN... 4 days away.. how does that make you feel inside? ~Kristin~

Good mornin ladies. Happy Valentines day. I had an appointment yesterday and my doc is just so sweet. When I complained about how uncomfortable I'm getting he said in a really nice way to hang in there and that really that last month can be really miserable. I felt very validated. He did the strep B swab, and of course told me that if it came back positive not to freak out b-cause one in four women are positive. How nice and rea__sruing is that. It was raining cats and dogs, but today the sun is finally out, yipee!
I am going out to dinner with my valentine. Anyone else have plans?

Good morning girls and happy valentine's day. As for what to do this evening, I was going to make my husband's favorite dinner but I forgot to go shopping for the stuff yesterday and my husband forgot his cell phone so I can't call him to have him pick up the stuff, so that's out. I will probably just make him a regular dinner and make some chocolate dipped strawberries (mmmmm) and give him a good back ma__sage. Mahagen, thanks for keeping us updated. I'm glad that everything is okay and hopefully those shots will wear off in time for you to go into labor on time!! Bummer that the shots hurt like that. Ick! I hate shots. Haha April! You peed your pants finally! Lol. I haven't done it from b__wing my nose yet-- still confined to sneezing. Glad to hear Jack is doing okay. He'll just be a cute little baby boy. I'm sure he's fine just tiny. And 70% effaced is great! You'll start dilating any time now. I don't know when my midwife will start doing internals... I'd be curious to know if I'm making any kind of progress yet with these stinkin' BH. Astra and Kristin, yay for good appointments! Kristin, sorry little boy is causing you so much pain. I am definitely getting more pain in the cervical area. I swear she uses my cervix to get leverage. Ouch! Anyway I got this e-mail from Mel and thought I'd pa__s along her info:
"Went for my ob appointment again today, and all is well with Meegan, she now weighs 6.61lbs and she'll most prob be around 7.5 the day she's here (25th) I'm exactlly one week after Robyn then. Well good for the BH then. I on the other hand think that your brave again, I am totally horrified at the thought of having a normal birth, dont know why, silly I suppose.....LOL. So 12 days in counting for me. Looking forward to meeting Robyn's little boy :-))." For those of you who don't know/remember she is having a c-section so she'll be going in the 25th. Robyn, it's coming up quick! I can't wait to see Justin and those chubby cheeks!

Morning ladies. Just back from my 37wk checkup and I am 1cm dialated & 90% effaced!!!!!! Dr said it could be anytime now but if the lo decides to be stubborn, we have penciled me in for an induction on March 5th as DH has to go out of town on March 7th. But I am hoping Little Ford will decide to come on his own before the 5th. My GBS was negative, Yeah!! So overall, a great checkup. I know it's a waiting game at this point, but maybe I'll be one of the next few to have a baby soon! Have a Happy Valentines Day!

Yay for the good appointment Brandy! So glad you can count on having the baby before your husband has to go. Hopefully you'll go even sooner. 90% effaced and a centimeter looks good!!!! So exciting. I am going to start a new topic-- tired of waiting for this to load.
