Hi everyone! Red, sorry to hear that you're down. Maybe you could take a trip home to visit the family before the baby comes...or if not, hopefully they will be coming for the birth. Oh, I am sure your wonderful MIL will be just great...not! I can definitely relate to that. My MIL didn't even show up for my shower (which I was glad about but it's just embarra__sing and rude of her). And we are naming our son after her dead husband! I seriously doubt my son will ever really get to know her, and she lives in the same city as us...but it's totally for the best because she's nutso. But anyway, Red, I wouldn't stress too much about giving birth to a 9+lb baby...for example, my childbirth instructor gave birth to her children with NO DRUGS and they both weighed over 9 lbs! Hope that makes you feel better :) So, has anyone been experiencing painfull movements? My l/o has never once kicked my ribs, but he loves rubbing his big head on my cervix like 100 times a day (and sometimes my rectum) and it really hurts! I seriously have to stop what I'm doing and hold my belly and I yelp with pain. And I have 2 months to go! Well, hopefully a little less :) Belly rubs!

Hey all! I swear, the leave of absence department at my job is on crack!!!! They are being so difficult about my bedrest and my pay! Ok, so my drs office has gone above and beyond the requests of my job, filling out paperwork to say exactly what is wrong with me and saying I needed a certain amount of time off each month. Well, my job decides not only do that want that, but everytime I take off, I have to get a note. Ok, no big deal there. But THEN they want the note to say each and every time that I'm absent due to my placenta previa!!! What I don't understand is, if I have already filled out c___ploads of paperwork stating I have placenta previa, including a statement saying I need time off each month due to my placenta previa --- why in the HELL do I have to get a note each time I use my fmla saying I'm using it because of the placenta previa? Isn't that pretty obvious? Well, I feel so bad everytime I have to call the drs office and ask the nurse for another note, I swear she hates me lol. She's gotten so fed up with writing notes that now she just wants my job to call her directly, because she feels it's ridiculous as well, the amount of duplicate information they want. URGGGGHHHH!!!! Just had to vent! So, today was the first day of bedrest, didn't go so well. DH took the kids in to daycare and school, which is close to work, which is 45 minutes from where we live. Well, on the way, my oldest pukes 3 times, so I end up driving 45 minutes both ways to pick him up! Laying in the bed all day is not as easy as it seems! I feel like I need to do laundry and clean, etc since I'm just laying around the house. wv_red - whew, 9 pounds that's a big baby! but people do it all the time, so I'm sure it will be ok, don't stress it (: Sims - Yay, blue team! reneenay - god, I still have the worst shooting pains down under, I actually don't know if it's in my bladder, or what, but they are horrible! I have a drs appt tomorrow so I can complain my little heart out!

Hi Ladies, I had a lot to catch up on : ) Sounds like everyone is doing pretty well!!! Aches and pains are abundant!! ~~VW~~ My first was 9 1/2 pounds (NOT natural), but v____al : ) You can do it!!! Our bodies are amazing!! I had my 32 week ultrasound today. Baby A is 5 1/2 pounds and baby B is 4 1/2 pounds. 10 pounds of baby so far with 6 more weeks to go.....I'm in trouble : ) I have a head and legs under my ribs and a sunny side head up (resting on my bladder I swear) and more legs pressing down. It's been a little uncomfortable lately : ) My little guy had his tonsills and adenoids out on Wednesday, so the little sleep I've been getting has definately been interrupted.........I'm done complaining : ) Sorry!! I hope everyone had a great weekend!!

I had my first dream regarding my little boy last night. I dreamed that I went to my doctors appointment and was told that I'd have to be induced the next day! Well, I'm only 31 weeks so I asked my doctor "whats wrong with him" and the doctor said that if the baby got any bigger then I wouldn't be able to pa__s him (I blame you ladies for my dream! haha) So I give birth and when I look at him he looks like a 4yr old little boy that looks JUST like BF. Strange! But it kind of freaked me out thinking about having him early. I am SO not prepared like I want to be! The countdown is on, only nine weeks to go and I still need to set up the nursery and get everything ready. The ba__sinet is still in a box because we haven't moved into our apartment yet!!! Hopefully these dreams don't continue!

Hello ladies! My turn to whine a little bit... The heartburn is terrible, right in my throat so whenever I burp, it's awful! Also my b___bs come out of my pj at night (and yes, it is a maternity pj), I sweat like crazy at night, can't sleep... And since I live in winterland, I have to wear my boots still and they are so tight in the pm! And then I must be looking like a moron at work, when I'm in meetings making faces because baby girl punches me or turns over or whatever she does... it even makes me grunt sometimes!!! Sorry, just had to vent a little! I a__sume all of the above will only get worse in the next 7 weeks... Have an appointment tomorrow with my OB so at least will be working from home for the rest of the day.

RMC - March 25

So I had my appointment today and I got sent to the hospital to get my first of 2 cortisone shots. Well, it was supposed to take all of 20 minutes and we were there for 3 freaking hours, just to get a shot. AND dh has to work tomorrow, so I have to go back and get a second burning painful shot in the b___t! ): So much for bedrest this week since so far I haven't been in the bed at all!!!CgGirl - I have the same problem with my bbs, only it's all tops, not just pjs lol. And I get that heartburning feeling up in my throat as well, mostly at night when I want to sleep of course.

Jairia - March 26

I finally got transferred hospitals Monday evening. My room here is way bigger, and the food's much better. I have about 3 more weeks until the cerlcage is taken out and then hopefully baby girl will come the following week. So, I'm crossing my fingers that I will only have 4 more weeks to go. We shall see. As of now, lil' bit is still breech, so we're going with the c-section. The countdown is on!!!

CgGirl - March 26

Jaira, woohooo!!!! I'm so glad for you! I'm sure time won't seem as long in the new hospital. Went for my appointment today and the OB confirmed that baby girl is still oblique and ordered another ultrasound. I guess she wants to make sure that she can grow appropriately. My uterus still streched by 3 since last appointment 3 weeks ago, so that's normal. Although I'm not as worried as last time around, it still concerns me and it's kinda nerveraking. Will start to do some exercises to help her straighten up. The OB said she will most likely straighten up on her own but the problem is there is no guaranty that she will straigthen up with her head down...

sammommy - March 26

Jairia~~ Congrats on the move!! I hope you have a restful next 4 weeks : )

RMC - March 26

Yaaaay Jaira! So, my post today is all about complaining again. I had to go in for my second steroid shot today. They a__sured me yesterday I would be in and out in 45 minutes. So today - I wait even LONGER than yesterday. I get there at 1, and I didn't leave until 415. And most of that time, I was just sitting in the freaking waiting room waiting to go back! I'm like, seriously, why did you even schedule me an appt? Soooo frustrating. So again, I was out of the house all day today, no bed rest, and now I'm getting shooting pains up my back! It's been a pretty stressful day! Then, 2 of my kids got into a fight with each other at school today and now can't ride the bus to daycare tomorrow. Soooo ... we live 45 minutes from the school if there is no traffic, which means, either they don't go to school,, OR I have to leave the house to pick them up!!!!

RMC - March 27

Bumpin us up! Where is everyone?

wv_red - March 28

Hi ladies!!!!! How is everyone doing??? Hey Jairia thast great that they finally got you moved!! yay!!! RMC that stinks about the kids fighting now you have to take them. Bummer...Looks like hormones have kicked back in at full force and it is not fun... poor dh oesnt know how to deal with me cause i get clingy then b___hy from hell. I DONT FEEL HUMAN!!!! ahhhhhh. lol. I dont think he is going to want to do this again, hehe. Well I had the first lamaze cla__s monday and they showed a really graphic video... didnt bother me but dh was pale by the time the lights came on.lmao!!! I hope he doesnt pa__s out when it gets time. ;-) SIMS blue team!!!! wooo hooo!!!!! took a while but glad you found out!!! yay!!! Yeah def we should compare, that would be fun! Ok so who has measured themselves around??? I did and it is def hard to believe how big I am... yeah so much for a waist. lol. Well all have a great FRIDAY and a good weekend!!

ChattyKathy - March 28

Poor hubby! haha... there really is no way to prepare them for those videos, I don't think. I didn't even think about that... we have our childbirth cla__s (one cla__s, ALL day, ten hours!) on the 12th and i'm sure they'll show videos and such. Hopefully he does okay! -- I had my appointment yesterday and OMG! Luckily my glucose test came back fine (thank goodness!) but baby has had a major growth spurt! I'm now measuring 33 weeks when I'm only 31, although the doc said that can be normal. But I've gained 8lbs in two weeks! To top it all off, I'm swollen, too! My ankles have officially begun to disappear, and I can definitely see some bloating in my face. Looking back at the pics, it started around 28 weeks, though, which is when I seemed to start to pack on the weight more. Today is one of those days where I definitely feel hugely preggo! Luckily my blood pressure is good, so I guess its just baby chub!
