Poor hubby! haha... there really is no way to prepare them for those videos, I don't think. I didn't even think about that... we have our childbirth cla__s (one cla__s, ALL day, ten hours!) on the 12th and i'm sure they'll show videos and such. Hopefully he does okay! -- I had my appointment yesterday and OMG! Luckily my glucose test came back fine (thank goodness!) but baby has had a major growth spurt! I'm now measuring 33 weeks when I'm only 31, although the doc said that can be normal. But I've gained 8lbs in two weeks! To top it all off, I'm swollen, too! My ankles have officially begun to disappear, and I can definitely see some bloating in my face. Looking back at the pics, it started around 28 weeks, though, which is when I seemed to start to pack on the weight more. Today is one of those days where I definitely feel hugely preggo! Luckily my blood pressure is good, so I guess its just baby chub!

I've finally been given solid info to look forward to. I'm 33 weeks today (almost 7 consecutive weeks done in the hospital). In three weeks, my st_tch will be removed. The night before removal, I can't eat or drink because if for some reason my bag of water breaks during removal I will be immediately sent to the OR for C-section. So baby girl could be born as early as April 18th at 36 weeks. If her bag stays in tact and things seem okay down there, then she'll be born 2 weeks after the removal at 38 weeks. So we're looking at May 2nd. So 3 more weeks at the minimum (I'm feeling pressure down there so hopefully she'll cooperate for 3 more weeks) and 5 more at the maximum. The high risk doctor here suggested that I go home next week at 34 weeks, but both my MD and I think it's best that I just stay put. I live a ways from the hospital and if my water were to break, I would have to wait for DH to get home from work and deal with traffic. So, I'll stay put in the hospital. I know 5 weeks sounds like a long time, but I've already done 10 total weeks of bedrest with over 7 in the hospital. So please God let these 5 weeks fly!!!

JAIRIA, that is such good news! I'm sure it feels great to finally have a plan laid out. 33 weeks is GREAT. Hopefully baby stays put and that pressure lightens up, but if something happens it is such a relief to know that you two have made it this far. May 3rd! The countdown is on!!!

Hi ladies! Jairia, that is great...not long now! I am glad everything has worked out for you. Red, I'm right there with you. My DH was getting on my nerves so bad last night. Everything he said and did just p__sed me off! I was trying to have a nice conversation with him about the baby and I asked him if he was getting nervous...all he said he was nervous about was me going into labor in the middle of the night because he wouldn't want to get up! And if that's not enough he keeps talking about how horrible it will be to not get any sleep the first few months and that maybe he should just go sleep in the other room. Ha! I don't think so, buddy! You're getting up and helping me and that's just the way it is! I thought it was just a tad self-centered, but right now I am thinking he's just being blissfully ignorant and he'll come around. He'd better or he's getting his a__s kicked :) Anyway, I went to the Dr. today and found out why I keep getting punched and kicked so low and why I'm not being kicked in the ribs...my little guy is fully transverse, which means he's sideways! The Dr. says he has about 3 more weeks to turn head down and then he'll be too big to correct himself. I'm not worried quite yet because the Dr. said most of the time they turn head down. But he'd better do it sooner rather than later. Dr. said that it could start to be painful for me once his head starts hitting my ribs. My cervix is already taking a beating with all of his limbs being down there! So wish me luck and lets hope he turns because I don't want a c-section!!!! I hope everyone else is doing well. Belly rubs!

Jaira - thank goodness you know how much longer you have to go now, great news! Well, I had to drive 45 minutes into town AGAIN yeasterday, because my insurance wants the papers for the tubal signed 30 days in advance and I signed mine 28. So they made me drive all the way out there just to sign my signature again with a different date. And since today is Saturday, all the kids are home so bedrest is non existent for the next two days ): Hopefully next week will be better though.

Hey guys. Jairai: YEAH!!! I'm so glad for you. And I'm glad that your Drs want to be on the safe side.
RMC: That sucks big time!!!! It's ridiculous! We were at our pre-natal cla__s yesterday (a one day workshop). It turns out I was the one to be completely grossed out by the whole thing!!!!! It's not to say but looking at a v____a getting that big freaked me out! I thought I was going to hyperventilate right there. It's good thing my husband is the calm one!!!! Speaking of which: Reneenay, I can totall relate to you. My dh and I have been getting on each other<s nerves for a few weeks now. I usually find that he doesn't care much. And then the next day I realize that he does care a lot, and then something else happens... anyway, I'm just trying to breathe. My dh has also made the comment that he may sleep in the guest bedroom. YEAH RIGHT!!! And also, saw my OB and baby is still in the oblique position. It is very very rare. She is sending me for yet another ultrasound. I really hope my l/o turns because just like you, c-section is really not my first choice. I know that the important thing is that the baby is healthy, bla bla bla... but still. I'm trying to do some exercises that involve getting gravity to help. Reneenay, there is also a website called spinningbabies dot com that give very useful information and tips to help baby turn on its own... My u/s is tomorrow morning. I<m kinda down. Sorry guys!

Hey all how is everyone doing??? Renee, Cg that is wild that both of your l/o's are being stubborn and not turning... I hope they do. Tell them to be nice to mommy and turn, lol. Jairia the count down is on! Not much longer for you at all!!!! Congrats! I had a pretty darn good scare last night... I thought I was going to have to go to the darn hospital. Starting getting BH's really bad about 7 then they just kept coming and was going into my back. Talk about pain! I have had a few Bh's up until last night but not as many and as painful as they were. I at one point had me close to tears which is odd cause I handle pain extremely well but d__n that hurt. Poor Dh is trying to rub my lower back and it just made it feel worse how tight it was. Well after an all night thing of this going on I called my doc this morning and she pretty much said they were contractions and it was because I was dehydrated. Nice huh. I drink at least a gallon a day but from where I was sick over the weekend due to some bad food I didnt replace enough of the liquids I lost... fun fun. So needless to say I am drinking lots and lots more water today. I called in so thats a good thing.Well all have a great day!

Hey ya'll. Well, finally today, I get to enjoy bedrest. No kids at home ... no appts to go to. Just me and this dumb dog that I am having a horrible time training! I could not wait for everyone to leave the house this morning after the weekend! lol ... cggirl - don't be down, I hope baby turns for you. You still have a couple of weeks. wv_red - maybe that's what my problem is with the bh's too, but I feel like I drink so much because I'm always thirsty! The last couple of nights though, I've woken up moaning because it's so tight and I just can't move or breathe or anything!

WTF is wrong with me. I had the craziest day yesterday. First of all I could not get full no matter how much I ate. I had a huge breakfast, Bojangles for lunch and was still hungry, came home and ate leftovers and I was still full. I ended up making cheeseburgers last night and had two of them. I have never been like that. I went in my guest bathroom since it was close to me and had the strangest urge to smell moth b___s!!!! Of all things moth b___s. I use the Bath & Body Works Wallflowers all over my house and the scent is cuc_mber melon, well I smelled that and just wanted to smell moth b___s so bad. I had to call my mom to try and forget about it b/c I knew it was weird. Has anybody had a strange urge like that? Thank goodness, I didn't have any at the time but BF thought it was the funniest thing when he got home from work. Is there anyone else interested in the Belly Buddy List? I'll be sending the information this week since it's April and some of us may go early. My email is msjagx07 and the domain is yahoo. It would be great if we all could join and keep in touch with each other.

Sterling: So great to hear from you! I'm glad you are doing better. I hope you keep in touch! Disaya: I haven't had anything like that, for me, it's mostly aversions, but I think what happened to you is pretty funny! :-) Went for my ultrasound yesterday and all is well. Baby is in the right position apparently now... I'm kinda sceptic. Not that I don't believe the technician, I do, but I just hope she stays put. I am soooooooooooooo tired, it's unbelievable. But the thing is, some nights, I can't sleep AT ALL! And for no reasons. Some other nights, I really want to sleep and sleep for a few hours but then are awaken by heart burn or something else equally pleasant... you guys must think I'm the worst winer ever! That's all I do when I come on this board!!!! How's everyone doing? This post is getting quiet... We'll need a new thread soon anyway!

I mean we are all pretty much in the same boat, pregnant.... hehe. I do know what you mean...it seems like the weekends i cant sleep at all but through the week i just want to stay in bed which is not going to happen. I have developed nice lil dark spots under my eyes *sigh* Disaya, moth b___s thats funny. I have a box in the closet and can smell them every time i get on the puter, lol. I will think of you now everytime i get on here. SOOOOOO how great is it now to be asked "so when are you due" to be able to say next month!!!!! I love it!!!! yay, now people dont look at me like wow your huge, cause i didnt give them a date, i am due next month! Disaya - wow, your post is like deja vu. My thing to smell right now is wood. I will go into home depot or lowe's and go straight for the wood and just smell it! Like, I crave smelling it so bad! cggirl - I have the same problem with sleep, only mine is due to nightmares and getting up to pee, as well as not being able to get comfy. It probably takes me a good hour after I get in the bed to fall asleep. sterlin - lots and lots of baby dust *****

Hi ladies! Sterlin, lots of luck and baby dust to you. I am sure it will happen for you soon! CgGirl, that's great that the baby turned! I am telling mine to do the same, but he's just not listening to me! Well, he still has time so I'm not freaked out yet...just a little. Lol. Thanks for telling me about the web-site...if he doesn't budge soon I am going to start trying some things out. It's such an odd position for him to be in. My Mom can tell that he is laying that way just by looking at me. You can see his head on one side and his b___t on the other. My belly looks so lopsided sometimes! CgGirl, don't worry about whining on here. All we do is b___h...I mean, in reality, who is really going to listen to and sympathize with us more than other pregnant women? Nobody else really cares! I am not sleeping well either, and it's been like that since I hit the 2nd trimester...some nights I just lie there for what seems like all night. I'll have a few nights like that and then I crash...but I never fully catch up! For me it's definitely the fact that I'm totally uncomfortable and peeing like 3 times a night. Disaya, that's hilarious...moth b___s of all things. Who knew? Well, I haven't had the urge to smell anything, but I am having a pa__sionate love affair with ice...I seriously chomp on the stuff all day long and I just can't get enough of it! It tastes sooo good! Red, I'm getting excited too! I can't wait to see my little guy and hold him! And as soon as he turns his little head down I can look forward to his birth a little more...I sure hope he does!
