hey cggirl, (clicked on submit too soon), i wish my dr would check me to at least give me that option. i hope he says something at my next appt. although i think it's going to be another waste, all he does is check the size of the stomach and check for heartbeat and my blood pressure and that's about it. i tested positive for gd now and he just shrugged his shoulders....grrrrrr, i wish he was a little more interactive. other than that, i too am desparate and wish there was something i could do.....i don't really care to try epo or the cohoshs or even castor oil.....i don't think they work, i don't think anything would work at this point other than the bag of water breaking or medicinal inducers.

Kathy I would be all for the sweep! Sweep away ,lol anything to get this show on the road!!!! Sims it has been a quiet few weeks for me too. Your doc sound almost like he really doesnt care about his job. I would defiantly make sure I post a review about him so hopefully no one else wil have to put up with that. Thats awesome that you and dh got a date night. I have noticed I have been alot more hormonal lately too. I bet its in the water! Ok Cg now you know since your DD has pa__sed you are expected to check in once a day so we know you are still here!! lol! You to Mely! Let us know when they give you that induce date! Sims the race is on!! lol, i hope its not a marathon :-)

ChattyKathy, I have a friend with a 3-month old who had her membranes stripped and went into labor before she even made it home from her appointment! She was 38 weeks at the time. So if you are feeling impatient it might help move things along.

Happy Mother's Day to all of you too!!!! I have my Dr's app today! Yay! Today we'll set the induction date for this week! I hope he can do it today or tomorrow! I'm sooo tired! My belly is waaay too big for me! I'm 5' 2'' and it's so big that people always ask me if i'm having twins! My bb are sore, so I hope that's a sign that me body is ready! I can't wait! I'm nervous and excited, and my hubby is too. I'll let you guys know what the Dr. said today! Good luck to all of you! We're almost there!

Good luck, MELY! Let us know what the doctor says! --- Things are frustratingly quiet around here. So far this pregnancy I've had my studies to keep me occupied, but with finals out of the way I have nothing to do but to wait for baby... who still seems perfectly content to stay put. I only had two contractions yesterday and it seems to me like they should be coming more frequent. BUT I've decided to go ahead with pelvic tilts and squats to try to get him descending. We'll see if that helps, but probably not since my next appt is on wednesday and I don't think I've given it enough time.

Hi everyone! Mely12, I have an appointment today too. Yay! In fact, it's my last one ever for this pregnancy! My c-section is in just 3 days! It's getting so close now. Mely12, I think I have hit my size limit too. I am only 5 feet and the Dr thinks my baby couldn't turn head down because I'm too short and he got too big too fast! Everyone thinks he's going to be an 8 pounder. But I think more like 7...so we'll see. There are a lot of weight estimates floating around! ChattyKathy, when are you due again? Don't you still have a few weeks? My Dr. said that most women do make it to their due dates or past them...so try and be patient sweetie! After all, you will have the rest of your life to be with your little man. But there is no harm in trying to move things along either. I still haven't had one contraction and I'm due in a week. CgGirl, where are you? Did you have the baby? I hope so!

HI guys! I;m back from de Dr. I'm being induced on Wed at 2am. so basically that's tomorrow night! I'm so excited. Reneenay I'm only 2" taller than you and the doc just told me that he thinks that my baby will be over 9 pounds! I can't believe that! Just 3 weeks ago he was 6 pounds 6oz so how can he have grown so much in just 3 weeks? Anyways they're gonna do another ultrasound before they induce me b/c if he's that big I'm having a c section. There in no way a 9 pound baby fits down there! I'm so happy it's almost over! So i will be doing my last minute preparations, I don't know if I will be able to sleep tonight! I'll let you guys know how it goes, hopefully he's not 9 pounds so I can have it natural!!!

Looks like Mely and Reneenay will be our next mommies, yay! Whew, but you both sound like you're having good sized babies (: CgGirl - I hope we have baby news (: chatty - I hope the pelvic exercises work to speed things up for you. The last trimester is the longest!

Hi Ladies, just wanted to pop in and say hi to you all, congrats on those whove already had their babies and good luck to those of you due son! Its exciting! I would have been due with my little one today so it made me think about it and i thought id check up on you girls. Im doing fine tho, im 19 and a half weeks so about half way. This is great as its the furthest ive gotten and i know im not far away from seeing my little boy! Anyway just wanted you all to know im thinking about you this month and hope you all have nice easy births! Take care all of you x x

MISSP, I'm so glad to hear things are going well! Thats great news! Almost halfway there! MELY, congrats to you! 2am WOW you better try to get some sleep! Measurements and ultrasounds can be off. I seriously doubt he's grown THAT much to suddenly be 9lbs. Hopefully your doctor agrees and you can deliver without a c-section. But either way your baby will be here soon! congrats!

Well I hope they are all okay and are holding thier babies tight :-) Has anyone been getting lig pain like pretty bad? Last night I was rolling over as best as I could and it felt like my whole lower left ripped, it hurt like crazy!!! I am just wondering if anyone else had this happen? My body is silent. i feel like i can be pregnant for another ten years -NO not that i want to be, but i haven't been getting any BH's or menstrual cramps nothing. no back ache, but my hips hurt when i sleep at night. other than that, i can't believe we don't have any births yet. Other than Mely and Reneenay being induced soon. Hey Red, because we have the same due date i'm really comparing my symtoms to you now. i was having ligament pain for the last couple of weeks but thats gone now too. now my lower stomach feels wierd, lie i can feel the fat stretched into two portions, wierd i knwo i don't think i'm describing it properly but nothing surprises me or worries me anymore. i've been desensitized by my pg journey. ok so the race is, i'm starting some remedies today, someone said tumeric and milk......so i'm going to try that. can't believe i'm in my 39th week. feels so strange to finally be there.
