i hear women talking about hiccups in the womb all the time. i am worried b/c i dont think i ever felt them.....is it normal to NOT feel them have the hiccups?

Yes it is normal to not feel your lo have hiccups. I never felt either one of my older boys have hiccups but with my daughter and this pregnancy, they both had hiccups all the time, Hiccups are just repetative little movements that feel like a little mini kick but every couple seconds usually in the same spot. Its cute when it happens and let me tell you, the hiccups are alot better then the kicking around when they get all crunched in the womb.

haha funny. I didnt even know my little girl had hiccups til my doctor asked me "So how long has she been having hiccups" during my exam. Mahegan is right about the "mini kicks" it is almost like a little beat.

I definitely didn't know the answer to this question, so I'm glad mahagen knew it! But consider yourself lucky, as the baby gets bigger and older the hiccups get stronger and will start to keep you up at night!

I can barely barely feel the hiccups and I'm 35 weeks. I really have to be sitting still to notice them but Jen's right-- for me it's like a little beat going on in there.

yeah everyone here is right i wasnt sure at first if they were hiccups though but after a lil while i was sure. my little one gets them all the time and although they are cute they start to bug me after a while lol its better than when i have hiccups though cause i hate having them so much.
