OMG- Liz & Mari, I have been having the same feelings lately about something going wrong w/ the baby- I hate it & try not to think negatively, but can't help it. I did not feel this "paranoid" when I was prego w/ my son. I just can't wait for it all to be over & be able to look at my baby girl & know that she is just fine. About the nasty comments from people- tell them to screw off, it's your pregnancy, not theirs & besides- you're a pregnant woman w/ raging hormones & can get away w/ saying whatever you want back to them, take advantage of it now cause we all know how people get after the baby is born w/ the comments like you have to do this & do that like that- ugh, I hate all of that- sometimes I feel like telling people if that's the way you want to do it then go ahead & have a baby & do whatever it is you please w/ your own, but don't tell me how to take care of mine. Wow, can you all tell I'm just soooo ready for birth- I'm just ranting & raving over here, lol. Joeby, I'm glad you popped up- I was starting to worry about you again. Patience & MissP- I am soooo glad you have both made it this far w/ out going into labor! That is just awesome! Anyone go outta work yet, or am I still the only one? I finally started to get my disability checks, so that's a bit of a relief- my poor boyfriend has picked up a part-time job to help make ends meet, I love & respect him so much for stepping up & doing that. Well, I'm gonna go- chat more later!

Hey ladies. 37 weeks today. ej-Im glad you didnt hurt yourself bad when you fell. I had someone crash into my belly with a shopping cart at wal-mart during my last pregnancy and I just burst into tears when it happened I was so scared! So the shooting pains in my cervix think was so bad today that I got out of the car to go into a store and couldnt move. I just stood there hoping it would go away. I eventually had to walk it off because a couple stopped to ask me if I was ok! Im a stay at home mom so Im just at home but I have not been able to get anything done for the last 2 days because I have not slept in 2 days. Im being to feel like a grandma like some of the rest of you because everytime I get up from sitting or laying down I grunt and groan and my dh picks on me for it. Hope everyone is doing ok. I have a doc appt tomorrow so Ill let you all know if anything interesting is said.

Well now I feel better that you others are feeling that way too!!! :) I'm not nuts afterall- ahahha!!! I can't believe how far along some of you are!!! I just feel like I still have so long to go but is it patience who is due on the 30th? That is 20 DAYS from now!!! WOW! That is this month...that is crazy!! I was just watching Birth Day and thought...OMG I am due in 5.5 weeks!! That is so crazy! THen this chic on Birth Day decided to not do an epi, and the baby got stuck in her birth ca___l, they couldnt' even get the babe out with forceps!!!!!!! SO they brought her in for an emergency C- couldn't get an epi because it was to far gone, it got to be dangerous for the babe so they had to put her out completely ....I was like...Hmmm maybe I DO want that epi afterall! :)

Hi girls, Patience I know how you feel about those shooting cervix pains. Are you having an internal at your appt tomorrow? I'm curious to know if those pains mean dialating at all. Do let me know if they check you. And Liz, yeah definitely do not even think about others comments, I get them the other way all the time. "You are HUGE" they tell me, "I"ve never seen such a large belly." I"m to the point where I just walk away now. It's like you're pregnant so you are free game. It's not like I would go up to an overweight person and say "My you're huge." I mean seriously. Ok, I guess this is my raving! Beka, you're due on Halloween are you? You must be the last one in the group. I cannot wait to see who goes first!

Beka- I will be induced on Halloween if I go late! :) But I am due the 18th. Thanks again for the comments gals, Aryanna you said something that reminded me about dinner last week...My girlfriend who NEVER watches what she is about to say said "Wow you are tiny, I mean look at you, you are smaller than you where when you first got PG!!!!" I was like...Seriously, is that a compliment? Cuz you are telling me that i looked skinner than I do now that I am 15-20lbs heavier?" I mean a person can never win no matter what because with my first pregnancy everyone told me "You look SO much like your mom now that you are so full in the face" My mom is a little heavy so is that a compliment to either of us? Hardly!!! Oh well- it's funny I guess!!!! Ok you guys keep me updated on your internal checks...I am living vigariously through you all!!! MrsSandy-sorry I dont' have an answer!

Ouch!!!! Now I know what you ladies mean by shooting cervical pains! I got a few of those today along w/ the heavy feeling on my crotch again- ugh...sorry, I know, TMI. So, yea, great- I'm uncomfortable during the day, uncomfortable at night, oh- I forgot to add those lovely sciatic nerve pains in the behind when I go to sit down- yikes is that a surprise feeling! Oh, the joys- I can now say I won't miss being pregnant one bit, that is until we get the itch to have our next child, lol. Anyway, has anyone dropped yet? I was at the bus stop w/ my son this morning & one of the other mothers said geez, Jen you must not have too much longer to go b/c everytime I see you your belly gets lower & lower. I personally don't see a difference yet & I've also heard after the 1st pregnancy some babies don't even drop until labor starts. Could I be starting to drop a lil, but not realize it?

I am right there with you all on the pain under the b___sts.. I have been having this horribly sharp pain in my right side for about a week now and boy does it hurt. Whenever the pain starts I feel it in my back as well- it kills. I asked my doctor about it the other day and they said it is just the way the baby is positioned and for me to adjust my position to help with the pain. They said if I lay flat or put my arms over my head that should help so if you guys want to try that it may help. Other than that I start my fetal monitoring on Thursday so I will let you all know how that goes when I get home. I am starting to panic realizing that I only have a maximum of 7 weeks left before our little boy arrives and that will be if my body allows him to stay in there that long. I know it sounds crazy but I am panicking over buying clothes for him,, because I am having him early at 37 weeks I am worried that he won't fit into any newborn clothes and when I try to talk to my Dr.'s about how big he will be they say he will be "normal size" but both of my other children were born at 39 weeks and my son weighed 6lbs 12oz and my daughter weighed 6lbs 9oz so they weren't big babies. So if he is being born at 37 weeks I am thinking he will be smaller. Plus the doctor says that the Lovenox I am on tends to make the baby smaller- so does anyone have any suggestions.. should I buy a couple of preemie outfits just in case? My daughter who was 6lbs 9oz actually wore preemie clothes for the first couple of weeks even though she was "normal" size. So any suggestions or advice would be great.. I know it is probably too early to worry but I can't help it =) I look forward to hearing from you guys- Thanks!

joey - September 9

it's the rudest thing when people comment on your body when pregnant- or any time. Why say..you're so big, or you're so small? You are what you are and it's the worst when you are hormonal to hear that stuff. Sometimes I just want to say back to people....well gee your b___t looks much bigger than i remembered it? have you put on weight? so over the sleeping thing...last night i went to bed at 10pm...got to sleep at 11pm..woke at 1am to pee...got back to sleep at 1:30am...woke at 2am to pee again, couldn't get back to sleep til 4:30am!!! then woke at 7am....so after going to bed at 10pm and get_tng up at 7am i got a total of 5 hours sleep and spent 9 hours tossing and turning really frustrated.....OVER IT. Thanks for the advice on the armpits! I have docs tomorrow so will ask her then...:-)

CatsMommy - September 10

Jen - I think you may be the only one on leave already, besides the stay-at-home mom's out there. I've had some people tell me too that my belly has dropped. I guess I never paid attention but I do notice when I sit down, my belly actually lays on my thighs - which is the weirdest feeling. I guess since it's dropped, I have a ton more pressure down there and I def do pee more often. Liz - I'm sorry to hear about your fall - I hope you were able to get a better night's sleep. You're always saying you're gonna be the last to go - I bet a million bucks you'll be one of the first : ) I'm gonna complain with you gals - the crotch pressure is driving my cookoo along with the shooting pains. I'm super hormonal too, so screw anyone that has anything negative or smart-a__s to say about us preggo's. We have enough bs we're dealing with right now! MrsSandy - for your sinus issue, I think it would be okay to take Benedryl. I have itchy legs and my doc told me it's safe to take Benedryl - maybe that will work a little better for you?? Joeby - I would buy a few premie clothes and regular size pj's. My fav pj's are the dress-type pj's with the little elastic at the end. All you do is lift up to change the diaper. Loved those with my daughter. Those types of pj's pretty much fit until she was about 3 or 4 months old. They do grow so darn fast so I wouldn't worry about getting too many premie outfits. Even if the clothes are a bit big, you can always fold at the wrist or ankles.

ejmeskan - September 10

Oh Mari-that crotch pain is the worst- I am sorry you have to feel it...it is like your legs are going to break off from your crotch isn't it?!?! Joey I think getting preemie clothes is a fantastic idea! It sounds like you are going to have a tiny little bean. I am SO excited to hear all about everyone's appts!!!! Let me know your progress!

Saird - September 10

Joey my goodness, I read that and had to smile to myself... both of my other two were born over 9lbs and I just looked at a newborn outfit when I was packing my bad and tossed it aside thinking there was no way it would fit my honking kid. And I skipped the newborn diapers and went straight to size 1. Everyone is so different... I am also sleeping horribly, it's like going to bed is torture. Last night I couldn't breathe for the longest time, feels like I"m suffocating when I lie down, and then I do fall asleep, only to be awakened by leg cramps and having to pee constantly. I think I will get more sleep whenI have a newborn!

britt_m - September 10

Joeby - My dd was born at 6lb 9 oz and also wore preemie clothes for a while, I bought some this time just in case. I actually sewed a diaper (tote-type) bag! I mean I'm not the greatest but I made cloth diapers with my dd and just had a bunch of fabric. I was thinking hmm I need a bigger diaper bag, I wouldn't mind a cute one, and well I was washing the swing, bouncer, and carseat and glanced at the sewing machine, haha! All during my dd's 1 1/2 hour nap. It turned out pretty cute : ). I just had my fetal monitering again, they always make me nervous and never really tell me much, ugh. I can't wait to see my midwife on Thursday! I hit my 34 weeks today so I feel a lot more comfortable if he came, I think he'll hang out a little longer tho. DH might be leaving in Oct after all for Afganistan, they just won't make up their minds. I really hope he holds off until Jan, I already had cla__ses schedualed and I'd have to reschedual them. Oh these people, I wish they would realize what this does to not just him but the families! It was so much easier when I was in and we didn't have little ones! I hate putting my babies threw this!

joeby321 - September 10

Britt you sound so creative and I'm sure the diaper bag came out so cute. I wish I was feeling up to doing that kind of stuff and of course I wish I knew how to operate a sewing machine..lol. Anything I sew has to be done by hand. Thank You guys for the suggestions- I think I will pick up a couple of preemie outfits and just leave the tags on that way if he doesn't fit in them I can always return them and my Mother bought him a couple of warm newborn outfits so I should be covered either way. My huband keeps telling me that it is too early to start worrying about clothes but the way I see it,, this has been such a difficult and miserable pregnancy and I haven't had any part that has been enjoyable- I might as well try and have some fun shopping. Besides the doctors are saying I will be lucky if I can carry until 37 weeks when we are scheduled for the C-Section so I just want to be prepared. Does anyone else feel like time is running out and they have nothing ready? I have the crib set up and we have a diaper bag with a few newborn diapers but that is it. Am I just being too impatient?
