I know that if you lose your mucus plug it can regenerate it self...but I was wondering if anyone knew how long it would take for that to happen? A day...a week? I tried looking it up on the net but I couldn't really find much..?

hey samantha, as far as I know all your mucus plug really is, is just an acc_mulation of secretions that form within the opening to the uterus... I imagine (but dont know for sure) that since cervical mucus and stuff like that is being contentiously made and that contributes to your mucus plug that your plug is being continuously added upon. However, Im not sure how that works in regards to actually losing your mucus plug before labor begins. I tried looking it up online too and couldnt find much, but Im curious now lol I'll let you know what I find.

Yeah the reason I'm so curious is because I lost mine on the 6th just while using the restroom and today after having s_x I found it again. It was like a clear glob on the bed. it was gross lol So i was just curious. If you find anything let me know and if I find anything I'll let you know. I'm gonna keep trying to look
