hi girls, been quiet here...how's everyone feeling? I've been sitting on my bouncy ball at night..not sure if its really working, i feel more like i'm getting an ab workout...it's been about 80 degrees here the last two days (super hot for us)...and we have no ac...so i've been dying in my black uniform...i'm 33 weeks tomorrow...getting more and more nervous about life with 2 kids....eek

Hey Cookie, Ive been busy with the little one and selling my business. We went to the Zoo today, man that was a workout! Just bought a ball, going to start bouncing on that! I measured myself on Tuesday, I was 40 inches!! I was that at the end with my son!!! SO Im definately bigger this time, and still 9 weeks to go! Hopefully sooner. Everyone is starting to tell me its a boy..that was the same with my son, Im so curious this time! Kinda would like a girl, but I know I will love him/her either way!

wow, tasha could you get any more on your plate? Selling a business? good luck with that...i'm 39 inches today so I'm about the same size as last time..but I weigh about 9 pounds less...how fun that you don't know yet what your having...what a huge suprise...

Hey girls!! Hope everyone is good. I havent been on in a week or two. Been feeling pretty lousy. It is super hot here, and humid and its just all around miserable to be in, especially when you are huge and pregnant, lol. I went to doc last week, I left the office crying, I put on 9 lbs in 12 days! 9 pounds!!! Its insane!! But mostly its water weight because of the heat and humidity I have been swelling so much, I look like a walking balloon! But baby is doing good, he is huge! I am starting to dialate, having alot of light contractions but nothing too bad right now, I am not effaced at all so doc is not too worried about the dialation, I havent moved in the last few weeks beyond it. They are a bit concerned with the water weight. My blood pressure is perfect though, so hoping to stay away from the preeclampsia, my sister had it with both her pregnancies and it was awful! I'm excited my baby shower is this w/end, it should be a blast. Hope all you ladies are doing good. Talk to you soon!

casey ann, sorry to hear about the 9 pounds, but at least you know its water...that will go quickly once the baby is born...how fun that your baby shower is this weekend, they are so fun, I hope you get lots of fun things...i'm still having problems in the bathroom department, i was in so much pain I wanted to cry...dh had to go to the maternity ward to pick up suppositories...now i've been prescribed a special laxitive syrup...I hope that helps...b/c I never want to go through this again...

casey ann did you still have your baby shower, even with everything going on? keep us posted on how things are with you two...I can't believe your er story...that would have me so incensed...grrr stupid people, I also wrote on your other post too...you should really write some letters of complaint about it...did you get the nurse's name?

Hello ladies. I am new to your thread....My edd is Sept. 2nd with my third child. I have two dd;s and am now blessed with my first son. I had a doc appt last friday and was checked. I am dialated at a good one almost 2 and 50% efaced. I was shocked I was so efaced already as I am only 36 weeks. I go back Wednesday morning for another check. ANyways, I was just wondering around the forums and found this. Is anyone else dialing yet??

Hi Ladies! I'm due Sept. 30th with my 2nd baby boy...I had my first this past November! I can't even believe it's coming around so quickly, AGAIN!

welcome smmom, I can't believe you are already dilating...did your dr say you may go early? I go to a midwife and they won't even check...it's frustrating, with my first my dr checked each week so I could see how I was progessing, now I don't know...alirenee, sounds like you are going to have your hands full with two little ones...how are you feeling?

Hello....Cookie..thanks....I was dialated with 2nd dd at 3-4 the whole last 3 weeks. But I did not eface hardly at all. I also delivered her at 38 wks and a couple days. SO ds could come early. I go back in the am to the doc and will let you all know what they tell me. Maybe He will be an august baby. AIirene....Congrats on your 2nd baby...2 in a year...you are brave !!!! Mine are all spread apart, and they are still driving me crazy !!! ANyways. Have a good evening ladies..I am off to rest.

OK...so today at the dr....I am still 50% efaced and now dialated at 3. But I was like that for awhile with dd. But then I came home and lost my plug !!! SO it will be interesting to see what happens. If nothing....then I am set up to be induced on my due date !!! Which I am totally fine with !!

Hi girls! Cookie I did have my baby shower because it had been planned for months.. and I had family come in all the way from Utah (I'm in WV) for it. I felt pretty lousy but at that point they had told me nothing was wrong so I had no idea it was quite as serious as it was. I went in yesterday and got my second steroid shot. Doc said he would like to hold off till 38 weeks but I am having so many more contractions now... I have had them all day, I know its not going to happen. I go tomorrow to have another ultrasound and if the fluid is any lower I will go directly to the nearest hospital with a neonatal unit. I havent hardly felt the baby move at all today, yesterday I only felt him kick or move 3 times and 2 of them were during a ultrasound. Today I have felt him about 5 or 6 times but they are very slow movements and this is all day after drinking OJ to try to get him moving. The ultrasound tech told me yesterday that I am not feeling him move much because he cant because he is so big (5 lbs 12 Oz) and there is just so little fluid around him. It was down a little further yesterday also by about .25. I will have another non stress test tomorrow and see how things look, I just have a feeling that with the lack of movement that I am feeling and all the contractions they will admit me to be on the safe side. I will let you know when I know more. And I am definently going to write a letter to the hospital insisting that this is addressed, simply so this does not put another mother and child at harm. I hope everyone is doing well. Smmom it sounds like your going any day now!! I am excited for you!! Good luck to you and your babe!!

Casey...I am glad you had the shower and enjoyed it. They are fun !! I am sorry you are going through such a scare with little one. I hope they do admit you and get you going. How far along are you? I pray all goes well with you. I know low fluid id so scary, but thankfully you are close enought o deliver a very healthy baby. They say babies can survive now outside the womb starting at 26 weeks. So your little one will be healthy as can be. Ok ladies....I am still playing the waiting game. I am hoping he makes it to Sept 2nd...but we will see. I am tired of these bh !!!

Yes, I had a little boy Nov 30 of 2006. Now I am due again with another little boy September 15th, but having a c-section on September 11th. I'm soooo miserable. Everything hurts and it hurts to walk :(
