TO everyone thats commented my photos & told me congrats. thanks i will slowly be making an update just right now busy as a bee and very tired =[ Strad Keagans Arrival Well wednesday June 25th i went to my ob for my appointment i swear everything was okay contracting minorly but you know who knows? Well i swear my doctor i seen swept my membranes but im not 100% she never said. 30 minutes after i left contractions started 15 minutes apart for about 45 minutes then they got to 8 minutes apart after about 3 hrs the contractions were only 2 minutes apart; but i just knew they werent strong enough. so i went to bed and went about my life Thursday went to work, went about my day as if i was only 6 months along or so; contractions were there but just not strong enough to do anything. When i got off work i walked with my mom around my house for about 35 minutes then came home kesley ate then we decieded to go to my mothers house; we went walking there too but my step sister was on her way over to my moms so mom and kelsey went home and i went about my walk i walked for about another hour. I got very sick when i was done vomitting but contractions were painful but i could stand it. So after that kelsey and i got ready and came home. After laying here for 2 hours i called my mom told her to come get kelsey and i because i knew tonight was the night i just knew it. so she did we went to her house i ended up with horrible diahrea then vomitting. i finally stopped i got to bed about 11am. waking about every 25 minutes due to contractions finally 245am hit then i was vomitting horribly again. i went and laid on the couch because kelsey took over the bed when i got up. i was laying there and contractions were only 1 minute apart & painful to where i was almost crying but i held from that. we ended up leaving my moms house at 340am to go to labor and delivery. we get there they get me checked in and finally they check me 3cms dilated & still 75% enfaced they made me walk they said one hour. so mom and i walked the hospital the more i walked to worse my contractions became i finally couldnt walk anymoe i was balling with my contractions (being we only walked maybe a maxium of 35 minutes) they checked me FINALLY id made progress 3.5cms dilated ---- oh yah i was thrilled thats more that happen then for the last 5 weeks haha ---- the contractions were painful so they had me try to whirlpool;; i hadnt made enouh progress so they couldnt offical admit me yet. the whirlpool they said was a make or breaking point meaning if it was actual labor it would change my cervix also; if it wasnt actual labor it would stop my contactions. well i need to do this for one hr also. so im in the whirlpool it felt like 20 minutes had passed and it was only 2-3 haha my mom laughed at me. but my contractions continued and they were more painful the longer i was in there. finally my hour was up and they came and checked me i was 4cms dilate (((yah more dilation meaning things were going along great and this was acutal labor))) the doctor on call wanted a little more dilation progression so finally they had me lay miserablly in a bed and deal with my contractions that were 45 seconds apart and 1 minute long. i was so miserable it wasnt even funny;; i had to sit there for 1 1/2 hrs by now it was closer to 930am and id been there more then 5 hrs and it seemed like my progression sucked and was very slow. when they checked me again i was 5 cms & 100% enfaced thank heaven. by this point they gave me some meds through an iv and i knew i was defiently admitted and having my baby before i went home this time. 1 1/2 hrs had gone by that had wore off so i could finally get my epidural. this was around 1145am. Finally i just got to rest and i finally did i feel asleep and the next time they checked me was at 145pm and i was 8cms dilated so the doctor broke my water (horrible enough i thought good this will prosue quickly boy was i wrong) after they broke my water my contractions were comign 3-5 minutes instead of every 45 seconds like before. after one and half hours no progress at all they gave my pitocin by this time i was feeling my epidural wear off. i was starting to feel the contractions but there was nothing we could do. finally at 455pm my nurse told me she needed to use the restroom shed be back i told her "hey thats what my nurse did last time and when she came back i was surely 10cms and ready to push" so when she got back out of curiosity she checked me and guess what? 10cms forsure and i was ready to push doctor came in at 505pm had me push once- three little pushes- then said the lady across the hall is 10 also let me check her ill be back she came back in at 517pm and said yep shes not moving her baby lets go. so i started pushing with my next contraction and strad keagan was born at 521pm weighing 7lbs 12 oz & a whooping 21 inches long!!!!! i was in heaven to finally hold my little boy =]
