WHEN SHOULD YOU STAR TAKING IT

When should you start taking clomid. will the twins be identical.

My Doc had me take it days 2-6, some doc do days 3-7, and 5-9. It just depends on what your doc likes to do, and if your taking it on your own, and trying for twins it's better to take it days 2-6, because your body makes more eggs when you take it earlier. The twin that will result from Clomid will be faternal twins. Hope this helps!!

When did you take the Mucinex and for how long? This is my first month on Clomid and am taking it days 3-7 with one day left. We won't have another chance to "try" for several months due to my husbands work schedule so we really want to make this one count. If you have any other tips or pointers I would really appriciate it. Thanks

I took the Mucinex everyday until I got my bfp....same with the baby asprin. Another thing, didn't O until cd19. Clomid can make you O later than usual so keep bd'ing until you get a bfp or af. Gud Luk!

Kim-Where you taking 50mg or 100mg of Clomid? I will be looking for your posted regarding # of babies.

I'm going to spk to my doc on Fri, but I'm guessing he'll be against prescribing Clomid - how else can I get it and will he still be willing to support me through it - should anything (God Forbid) go wrong...?? Kristen--I took 100mg Sunita--If your doctor won't prescribe Clomid, then you can get it online.....but be aware of the risks of taking this stuff unmonitored...and make sure you get it from a reputable place. Do LOTS of research and know what signs to recognize. Even armed with tons of knowledge, you still run the risk of OHSS and other unpleasant side effects. You don't want to hurt your fertility.I was extremely lucky and was prepared to go to my doctor if something went wrong and be honest about the meds I took (and possibly get a lecture and nasty looks). Sorry Lauren- I just saw it on another forum. Who ever posted it copied and pasted from another site, but I am not sure wich one. I go today for an ultrasound to check how many follies (eggs) I produce with the Clomid. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

I took my clomid days 2-6, had my u/s done on cd12. if the eggs havn't released by tues. when i have another u/s, the I will get the trigger shot to relese them.
