tanks nicole you hit the nail rgiht on the head.....this exactly what other woman who feel we don't really know what we are asking for and are doing to get it fail to understand....its this that we want these twins so badly that if we are blesed with them healthy or unhealthy we are prepared to deal with it with utter responsibilty and confidence...

I have two boys, ages 5 and 2. When I was pregnant w/them, I had no m/s and was a little tired. I am 14 1/2 weeks with the twins now. I had terrible m/s and have been extreemly tired. I lost 6 pounds before my first appointment. I knew something was definantly different. (I thought maybe I was having a girl this time.) Hopefully they're both girls. :-) My m/s is finally going away and I'm not as tired as I was in the begining. I still fear everyday something will go wrong with one or both of them. I have had 2 early m/c in the past at 7 weeks. I definantly think this will be my last pregnancy. The stress is hardly bareable. Another indication of the twins was that I could feel my uterus about an inch below my belly b___ton while laying on my back. Also I could feel the hardness of my stomach above my pelvic bones. I so hope things work out for all of you. Keep me posted.

Lauren, I don't know your weight, but I am overweight by 40lbs. At 8 weeks they couldn't get a heartbeat so they did an u/s with my DD. Dr said that my belly fat made it hard to get the hb. Later in my pregnancy I bought one of those heart monitors. Couldn't get a hb and got really bummed. DH thought to check from the back and there it was. Just the way she was laying made all the difference. Relax, it will happen. I am now 9wks and 2days.

Just an FYI, I had another blood test today, and will get the results in a couple of hours... but the great news is that I got my u/s rescheduled for THIS TUESDAY! Great news for me! I keep having dreams about multiples, and need to get it out of my head if I'm not having them. I will be 7 weeks then, but the baby should only be measuring 6 weeks, so I hope they can see something. Definately getting sicker and more tired every day. That helps me feel calm about the pregnancy at least being healthy, and not m/c'ing again. I'll let you know how my numbers are doing when I get the results. Thanks everyone, and GOOD LUCK!

hi nicole....i am sooooo praying for you...i am 'almost' in the same boat have 2 boys ages 5 and 1.5. the difference being your 'blessed' with twins....this time round and i so hope it will happen to me too and yes imagine it would be 2 girls???...how GREAT would that be????wow! did you conceive them naturally???i also had 2 m/c and now i am actually on clomid to increase my chances...i had a trial month and had no problems with it...will now get ready to ttc and am about to take my second round...i just O but didn't really bed during and before it only maybe 4 days before or 5???cannot remember...but i doubt i will be preggnant this month...so waiting paitently for af!!! but i am so envious of you having twins the third time round...am quite happy for you...and lots and lot sof luck you get 2 girsl but at the end of the day the main prayer is you have a successful pregnancy and two healthy children whatever the s_xes...but having that extra wish of 2 girls or at least one of them is the icing on the cake...and all the stress would have been so worth it....good luck and baby dust to you and all others who trying for one, two or more....

Just another update here... I got my HCG quantative blood results back. My HCG last week was 198. If it were doubling every 48 hours it would have been around 3150 or so... I can't remember the exact number right now. My number today was 7155! I was so thrilled. It looks like it's a healthy pregnancy this time. I sure hope it continues.

Hi Ladies! Well went to the doctor this week and was tested for PCOS, thyroid, FSH, LH and everything came back normal. My cycles are anything from 35-60 days. Not sure why they would be so long if everything is normal. Any thoughts? She has prescribed me clomid in the past so I think she will again. Thanks

Amanda - October 8

Julie, I had my first v____al u/s done at 6wks and they were able to hear the hb and tell me how long the baby was. And of course that I only had one. Good luck on getting more!!!

Thanks, Amanda! I'll let you all know how it turns out. I'm just excited to know how many are in there, even if it's only one. Like I said, I've been dreaming about it like crazy. I feel like once I know what I've got, I can just concentrate on that, and hopefully be able to sleep better!
