I recently went for my first visit and am now begining to receive the bills from my visit. The total cost as of right now is 4000 dollars. They ran millions of tests and when i went in I made them aware that I had studen tinsurance and it probably was unlikely to cover anything. Now I have a first visit bill of 4000 dollars...is this normal! Because I don't have anywhere near the money to pay for that, i am ina situation where i will be unable to go have any more visits. Do you think if I wait till the third trimester and try to save some money that it will be ok? My bigger question though is 4000 dollars normal for a first visit! I called other places and they said it was around 3400 for all the visits and delivery, excluding laab and ultrasound, so to me all began to see pretty fishy. Mayeb you all can help me out, because i want to confront the doctor i went to if this is not normal.
Desperatly needing help!
