I am trying to concieve. I took fertility tests, had IC on the day of my lh surge. (i did this 2 times before and ended up pegnant both times) I work for a doctor and have unlimited access to doing my blood work. so what i counted as the 7th and 10 day after conception i took the qual. blood test. It read less than 2 which is consistent w/ neg. I havent even missed my period yet, its due tomorrow. does less than 2 mean there is some hcg there? should it have read zero if i truly wasnt pregnant? i feel a little nausea, very tired and very hungry? I cant ask my boss because i woud prob get fired if they found out i was trying to have a baby. also what does AF stand for?

wow that sounds harsh about being fired for trying to have a baby, plain old wrong. Anyways I heard your body sometimes produces HCG naturally and thats why they say anything less than 5. Thats what I heard and it does make some sense so I would wait 2-3 days before I test again for you could have a late implanter and HCG takes 2-3 days to double if you are pregnant. Good luck

AF in here stands for "Aunt Flow," meaning your period.
