KRISTINE: How are you and your little one doing??? Must be exciting with Christmas approaching.... just think next year you'll have your little girl here for christmas. Too cool! ••••• I had a doc appointment for Alex today... I think she has been fighting off a bug or cold the last few days. The doc said Alex is checking out well (she is up to 8 pounds, 4 ounces), however the Ped. said she heard a heart murmur and wants Alex to come back in to the office for a follow-up checkup on Tuesday to verify. I have a heart murmur and know it is hereditary so there is a possibility Alex could have one. Hope all is well... talk to you later. ~ Michele

Hi Girls, I'm so glad you got saw the pics of Mackenzie...we are all settling nicely into a routine...I can't believe how much I love this kid already....she is already a huge part of our life....and when I'm not around her it seems like there is an emptiness....Krisitne how are you feeling? are you starting to feel regular movements? Michele, did your dr say anything else about Alex's heart murmer? Are you Breastfeeding? Mack is a little piglet she really is a good nurser although today i'm feeling pretty sore...anyways better dash Mack is waking up...btw I posted my birth story on the 3rd trimester website if either of you are interested....big hugs :-))

Hi ladies, Sorry to hear about Alex. I hope she is okay. I am feeling good. My stomach is getting tighter and it's difficult to get comfy in bed. It feels very squished when I'm sitting down (I have a short torso). She moves around alot so that rea__sures me. We will be registering soon. :-)

Kristine: I am 5'3" with a short torso... so when I was pregnant Alex squished my stomach with her b___t for a really long time. And it created bad acid reflux for a long while so I had to sleep sitting up. But I guess it was worth it... however.... she is a little cry baby lately. I think she has a ga__sy stomach... will be seeing the pediatrician tomorrow for her follow up on the heart murmur so i will ask her about what to relieve the gas for Alex. ••••• COOKIE: you still owe me some photos.... if anything I should have Kristine FWD them to me since you were having trouble. Hi ya ladies... I took Alex to the pediatrician today for her follow-up appt. The doc said it does not seem that Alex has a heart murmur so that is great. She was 5-weeks old on Monday & is weighing in at 8 lbs, 12 oz and 21-7/8 inches long.... The pediatrician also stated for Alex's growth spurts and weight gain that she will be 5'7" or taller, but really will not know until she is 2 years old... at 2 they are 1/2 their adult height. Anyhow, I am only 5'3" and DH is 6'4"..... I am rooting that she is WAY taller than I am... it sucks being short. Hope everyone is doing well. I got the mylicon drops for Alex since she has a lot of gas bubbles lately and now is doing A LOT better... but she does have a "bug" so the tummy is upset nonetheless... the pediatrician said to keep feeding her my b___st milk --- that is the best thing for her --- it will eventually pa__s. BUT I am not getting any sleep because of her fussiness! It is freezing cold here and had snowed… it is possibly gonna snow again on Thursday will need to tak pictures w/ Alex •••• I have an OBGYN appointment tomorrow… my basic 6-week check-up even though it has been 5-1/2. Will let you know how that goes. Welp, gotta run. Talk to you soon.

hi girls, so glad to hear that Alex doesn't have any heart problems...Michele i'm sending you some pics from this weekend...so hopefully you can open these...it's a smaller file amount...I can't believe how time has flown this year....we have gone through so much...and now two of our little girls are here...and another is greatly anticpated...can you imagine when we were ttc....was reflecting on how much has changed this year....and how lucky we are....our lives will never be the same...I can't wait....

Hi ya girls... hope you two had a nice Christmas. I had a nice lazy day.... basically only made a family dinner. So it was very nice. ••••• December 25th marked that Alex was 6-weeks old. Can you belive how fast time is flying on by? Anyhow, today, I signed up for 3 months of Weight Watchers online to help in losing the lingering 18 pounds I have to go. So I am hoping to lose 6 pounds a month for the next 3 months.... the great thing is they have the POINTS® system for Nursing mothers... you are still eating more than a normal person but being able to lose weight without losing milk production. I hope it works for me. Talk to you soon.

Yes this was a much better holiday than this time last year. This year was very special and I enjoyed every minute of it. BUT, I am very anxious to move on, take down the tree and focus on the nursery. Hubby has lots of work to do and is a procrastinator. I can't believe 6 weeks has gone by. I got on my scale last night and i've agined 20 pounds to date. I still have 13 weeks to go. Yikes! -----------I hope I pa__sed the glucose test from last thursday. No one ever called with the results so I hope that's good news.--Work is so quiet. The days are dragging. I decided to come in and keep saving up my time for maternity leave. I will have around 21 weeks of time when March arrives.

hiya, tried to write last night but got booted off....we had a busy holiday weekend with family functions each day...then on christmas when we were up at my folks house Mack's cord fell off and it looked gooey and smelled so we took her to the emergancy room to make sure everything was ok...they had to caturized (sp?) the last little bit and we just have to keep cleaning it with alcohol...but boy is she getting fussy...I can only put her down for about 5 minutes at a time...right now she's sleeping on my chest so I can get some work done...it's funny because she is so good when we are out, but when we are at home she is a fussy little miss...good news is she was weighed at the hospital and she was 6p 13 oz...she gained 10 oz in a week...what a piglet, so dr should be happy tomorrow he wanted her back at least back at her birth weight of 6.9 oz.....Michele dh and I are joining ww online too...starting 1st of January...I've lost 17 pounds so far but I still have another 20 pounds left...and I hate the jelly belly...I've always had flat abs and been pretty small so it's hard to be still in maternity clothes and barely fitting into my "fat" pants...I know I need to be patient as I just had a baby 2 weeks ago, but it's depressing....ww is great though, and I did it before and lost weight...it was so easy and you don't feel like your dieting...Kristine wow 21 weeks mat leave...that is amazing....is that over 5 months? I'm going back to work 3 days a week January 8th when Mackenzie is only a month old...I feel bad but I have too...and I'm already popping into the office and working from home (but it's keeping me sane)...also if they didn't call you back about the test (at least at my office) means everything was ok...but if you took it thursday and the holiday weekend and all did they tell you when they would have called ? having gained only 20 pounds is great for where your at....okie, back to work....
