Hi Monica, It is possible that you are having implantation bleeding. Keep a watch and see how long it persists. However, if the bleeding turns into a period, then you should contact your doctor. Most times, the bleeding is nothing to worry about, it could be a thin uterine lining (and you are not pregnant) or just hormone imbalance. The only thing you can do for now is wait to see if your period is late and then do a pregnancy test. Good luck.

Irina, thank you for answering my questions. The bleeding stopped after those 2 days I previously spoke about. My period is not due for another week. So i guess I just have to wait it out.

Hi. i had my period 3 weeks ago. but i started it again 2 weeks later. it started pink for a day then turn brown. its been light and lasted 6 days. does anyone oknow what this could be. thanks x

the brown discharge is old blood it may be that your preganat if you had 2 periods in a 3 week time or its your bodys way of cleaning its self

i had s_x yesterday and then i started bleeding but but my period was suposed to come the next day anyway but the bleeding is very light it was pink when it started now its red and it light i dont think its a period because i normally have pain.

hi i need some help. i thought i was pregnant..had a lot of symptoms..sore enlarged b___sts, tired, gained some wait in a matter of days, specific smells made me feel sick but then yesterday began bleeding. light and bright at first but this morn it was kinda heavy and darker red like a period..since it started i have gone threw 2 tampons..it also started 2 days B4 my period is supposed to come..i took 2 hpts a few days b4 the bleeding and both had very very light +..u really had to look to c the line there..so was it actually positive..could i be pregnant?? HELP

hi i wrote earlier today and just wanted to add to what i said because im really cunfused. i have a lot of pregnancy symptoms like sore enlarged b___sts, constipation, gasy, frequent urination. i took 2 pregnancy tests and they were both + but very very faint. my period was due in 2 days but i havent had my usual period symptoms so i really wasnt expecting it. out of no where yesterday i started bleeding. no cramps no bloating just bleeding. at 1st it was light and bright like i said b4 but then it became darker and heavier the next morning. from the time it started till now (the next night) i have only gone threw 2 tampons. i always get my period the 31st every month hasnt changed in a long long time. its usually about 5-6 days long and heavey at the begining with heavey cramps. i ALWAYS get cramps. last moth it seemed normal but i went away 3 days to early. now this time i dont no if its my period or not because i have no cramps and no other period signs other than bleeding. should i be worried that maybe im still not pregnant?? can implantation bleeding become a lil heavy?? ill c how long it lasts then test again..has this happened to any1??

Hi Ana, Implantation bleeding can vary between women but usually it's lighter than your normal period and lasts for about 2-3days max. If you have been having these pregnancy symptoms and positive tests up till the bleeding, then wait until your bleeding stops to test again. I don't want to scare you, but sometimes a positive test can turn out negative when it's a very early miscarriage - where the fertilized egg does not implant properly. Then you would bleed as well in the form of a period. If your test turns out negative after the bleeding, then I suggest you call your doctor and speak to her about this. All the best.

thx irina..the bleeding is starting to lighten up now. its now the morning of my second day with the bleeding. still no cramps. i tested this morn and got another faint + but i am still bleeding a bit so i will do like u said and test again as soon as it stops completely. i hope i wasnt a miscarriage im really hoping i am pregnant. me and my husband really want a baby. thx 4 the advice.

hi ih ad a miscarriage in nov. it pa__s thruogh just fine. i started imed. trying again. im having some syp. but not too sure if the light bleeding im having is because of a new preg/period starting

i also had e same problem this month and this is very unusual for me. a hpt came out negative so i dont know anymore.

Hi Tameka and Yvonne I had a miscarriage in August and since then, my period has gone a bit haywire. I took hpt too and found they were negative. I thought the light bleeding I had was implantation bleeding - but it wasn't. According to my doctor, it was probably my uterine lining being too thin and this can cause bleeding. This bleeding is also NOT a period although it seems so but lighter. You both probably need to wait like me for a month or two more to see how regular your periods get. Mine is getting regular again, but the cycle is longer now. I am also trying and I hope the best for both of you.
