Hi everyone......new here. I am desperate for some answers to what is going on with me! I just had a baby 4 months ago and my periods have been regular and come every 29 days since I had her. My husband and I have been using withdrawal method and we had a "mishap" the exact time I would have been ovulating last month. (He pulled out and we had s_x again immediately after he pulled out.) Anyway, I am not due for my period until next Tuesday (8-9). We had s_x again 8-3 and I started bleeding after and then it stopped. It started up again the next evening and was a pinkish color and then I didnt see anything until last night. Now its bright red and looks like a period, but for the last couple of days I have been nauseous, dizzy, tired, headaches and lower back pain. My doc gave me a pt Wednesday, but it came out negative. They said to wait until Monday to do another one. I don't know what to think! I feel like I am pregnant but the test says no and I have this period "like" thing going on! Can anyone tell me what could be going on?? Monday seems SO far away! Thank you!

I am wondering if anyone has had bleeding, or brown or pink discharge (not heavy) and then found out they are pregnant? I am looking for hope. I had this discharge 4 days before I was due to start AF. I am due on Tuesday and the discharge has mostly stopped- I am driving myself nuts wondering what this could be?

Beth- I had that with both my pregnancies. I thought I was getting my period both times and then found out I was pregnant several days later. Good Luck.

To everyone: last month I had spotting for 2 days, which I thought was implantation bleeding, only 4 days after ovulation. I read somewhere that because it was so close to ovulation it was more likely to be the "remnants" of a previous period which had been released due to the action of s_x. So sometimes you can get light spotting a day or 2 after s_x. I got my period as normal. Anyway, my periods are so regular, they come on the morning of the 27th day. It is now the 31st day and this morning I have had the TINIEST amount of brown spotting (maybe 4 spots). Only 5 days past ovulation I started having nausea (very unusual for me) and it lasted 3 days, then on and off since then. I was also very headachy and started eating like a horse! But I had a hpt today and it was -. I think maybe I am TRYING to feel pregnant and TRYING to suppress my period, but you never know. I'm not sure how long after implantation bleeding to take a hpt. The waiting drives me crazy! I'm thinking of taking another hpt if my period doesn't come in 2 days. Anyone similar? I'll keep you posted!

Hi Chris- With this pregnancy I was supposed to get my period on a Saturday and I had spotting so I thought that was the case. It was on and off very light so I did an hpt on Monday (which would have been 2 days past my period due) and it came back negative. It was one of those early tests that says you can test 4 days before your missed period. Well the spotting stopped and then started again on Wednesday but again very light. By Friday I was crazy and did another hpt which was positive! I am in week 16 and all has been well so far. I had spotting with my first pregnancy that I thought was my period and I did about 9 tests because I was able to tell it was positive! Good Luck!!

My period was due on Saturday but did not come. On Sunday, I was hit with the worst migraine ever. Five hours later, I got my period (I think). It was light pink and did not come with cramping. I put in a tampon this morning. It is safety to use tampons during implantation bleeding just in case I'm pregnant?

tha same thing thats happening to u is happening to me.i bleed light jus like that for 6 days and my period wasn`t even due. the day after i stopped bleeding i took a pergnancy test and it was negative. i need help to.

af is 8/9 or 8/10 but on 8/7 and today 8/8 I have experienced HEAVY brown spotting not like little drops or anything and its there when I wipe and has went through my underwear. Is this implantation or an infection?

To Stephanie, same and scared: I wasn't sure about using tampons either, but I did because I went to the gym and didn't want to suddenly get my period whilst running! But I just read on this website: http://bellybelly.com.au/articles/pregnancy/bleeding-in-pregnancy that you shouldn't wear tampons if bleeding during pregnancy. It didn't say why though. Take a look at the site. I still only have extremely light spotting (brown) which started yesterday and I am now 5 days late for my period. We'll see what happens....

hey all i was wondering if someone could help me i recently lost my vaginity to my fiance and a couple of days later when i wiped there was a bright red discharge but not enough to be on the panty line does this mean im pregnant- implantation bleeding or is it just cause i lost my vaginity.... please help!!!!

I just knew it was implantation bleeding...i wanted to share my experience with you all in case you are wondering like i was if what you have was indeed implantation bleeding...i indeed confirmed my suspisions with a hpt today. Good luck to all!

Beth-I am having similar symptoms. I started sporatic bleeding over the weekend, but was due for my AF today. Nothing this morning and slightspotting when I wipe now. Also having nausea and very tired. I decided to test today, but I got a -. What gives?? Did I tes too soon? How long did you wait?

I would guess you are pregnant by your symptoms. Try a different test - Not the + / - kind. I hear they are not that reliable. I used first response early results and then walmarts equate. Good luck!

Beth- I have to agree with you about me most likely being pregnant since I have two other children already, but when a test says negative and you have all the signs I can't get the "go ahead" until it says positive! When I was pregnant this last time, I pa__sed out and the hospital gave me a blood test that came out -, but a week later a home test proved otherwise. How long do you think I should wait? A couple more days.....next week? Thanks!
