T V Show On Teens

I wonder who in the U.K watched a soap series last night called "coronation street".I watched it,and thought of this forum. Two teenagers went to bed together,in the programme she is 15.an adult found out,and tried to warn her about the dangers, she said she should know, she had a baby at 16,to which the 15yr old called her a "slapper".In Eastenders, another series, they had a girl who broke her virginity at 17,but the condom broke, and she got scared saying "I'm only 17".Ok,these programmes are not real, but there is a story because the actors in it are too young. It would be no good showing that about older people because i is normal. It is like the real life programmes been mentioned on this forum, kids wanting to be parents, yet put to the test they realise how hard it really is,luckily before getting pregnant.

Well, I got pregnant at 18...had my baby girl 7 weeks ago at 19. I wasn't living at home, I was living with my fiancee.. I didn't "try" to get pregnant..but I didn't do anything to prevent it from happening either. I knew what I was doing, and I knew the risks involved. When I found out I was pregnant I was not scared, and didn't regret it at all. Oh, and by the way, yes we were engaged before I was pregnant..not because of the fact that I got pregnant. Tasia is 7 weeks old now and she is the love of our life. Jeremy (fiancee) is a welder and works on the rigs and we are doing great finacially, and emotionally. My family back home met her for the first time when she was 2 weeks old and they are so happy. Just thought I would share my story so you all know that not every teen pregnancy story is a horror story.

Marcie once again I agree.I think some problems is having parents who have an..."easy"att_tude if you like.My sister allows her teenage children to have their girlfriends stay in the same room.I think it is wrong. She'll say they are over 16...but as I said if the girl got pregnant she has not set good ground rules. To Kristina,ok 18 is a little older,at least as you say you have a bit of financial security, but these daft, and they are daft, girls who want babies at 14-16,17,maybe you a little young, they are too young, there's no doubt.Of course you would love an infant, that is natural, but there has to be guidelines on when things are ok to do,be it drinking voting, marrying, driving, etc etc, otherwise the nation would be in turmoil.I agree with other posts when they have said about the nation paying to look after unemployed people,no effort for work,or girls who has got pregnant for housing.Other people save up for a house, they get it because they have children, plus we help pay for them.I think if they have allowed themselves to get pregnant, even by accident then it should be hard for them,if thats the way it is.I believe prisoners should have a crime based on what they did,not an easy life, again we pay,why should we?

I agree,we should not have to pay to support other people, years ago they managed because they had to,now they know they get aid and do not worry.I find it alarming that we have to point out the obvious about why it is "wrong",as you said in your message, others, and myself has said.At the end of the day they are just children, and sadly they want to grow up too soon.

anyone from the uk watch Coronation street?...Anyway,on there there is a 15yr old girl, got caugt by her mother sleeping with her boyfriend....the 15 yr old has been grounded. The thing is,she is underage, still a girl, and living with her parents,so although it is a soap,it is based on truths,it is amazing how girls cannot get to grips with understanding why they are far too young to raise an infant.
