Hi guys. I feel kinda ashamed that Im writing this..Im only 14 years old and on Saturday I had s_x with my boyfriend. I know its only Monday...but since Sunday when I wiped I had a dot of blood, followed by clear discharge with a brown speckle in it.. tapped as if it were in a bubble. Since Sunday.. everytime I wiped I got brown discharge. Its kind of early to be having these symptoms ( reading everyone else..far along) .. or is it? Can someone please help me out! I dont want to ask my mom.. because if Im not pregnant I dont want to get myself into something. Ive had sore b___sts and Im cramping for like 5 minutes at a time during random points of the day. My period isnt due for another week and a half. Someone please help me out! Thanks, Alex

Read up on implantation bleeding, i think you will be fine. Sometimes you have a small amount of spotting because the cells bury themselves in the lining of the uterus and causes this. Take it easy and if it persists, call your dr.

i know its hard when your scared and not sure what to do, but there could be so many different reasons why youre spotting. have you had intercourse prior to this? if not, its completly normal to experience bleeding the "first time". if youre not a virgin and this was just random spotting, than it could be slight "trauma" to the area. hard intercourse could bruise your cervix and that could be all it is. i would keep an eye on it, but if you do not get your period and your a couple weeks late, i would do a pregnancy test and if the results did come out positive, i would speak with your mom and schedule an appointment with a ob/gyn. but please try and relax, stress can also postpone a period. i wish you all the best alex and Godbless!

Hiya, I missed my period last Sunday (19/06/05) and did a test last monday to find it was poisitive.. to make doubly sure I did a second one with a different make test kit which also came out positive... it is now 5 days later and I have started to wipe away some funny discharge.. it started 2 days ago as a yellow/creamy colour and now today is has turned pinky but still the egg white consistancy.. we have a 10 year old son and have been trying for anothr baby for 9 years now... thinking it would never happen, it has taken us the last few days to get used to the idea now to see this when I wipe after going to the loo... Please, can anyone help put my mind at rest as I am terribly concerned and upset about this... Thanks :o)

When do you start counting the first day of your period, when the blood comes out or when the brown discharge comes out?

according to my ob/gyn, any color "blood" is considered a period, brown or red. so when you notice the blood thats when you should go by the first date of your period.

the brown spotting could be implantation bleeding, which would signify pregnancy, or just the start of your normal menstral period. if you do not get your period for 2 weeks after your due, i would either do a home pregnancy test or make an appointment with your ob/gyn. either way, you have to wait it out and see. goodluck to you.

hi rachael. i can completely understand your scared, but i will say, from my own experience, i had cramps like i was going to get my period and discharge like mad for the first couple weeks of my pregnancies. the discharge is completely normal and for most women, will last throughout the whole pregnancy. as for the pinky color discharge, it may just be implantation blood. i wouldnt worry about it too much yet. pregnancy takes its toll on a womans body and this could be completely normal. just try and relax and schedule an appointment with your doctor to confirm your pregnancy and put aside any fears you may have. i wish you all the best and Godbless.

Hiya Vicky, Yeah I went through that last week... I am at the begining of week 6 today and last week I had the same thing happen although it was pinky in colour... my midwife said to leave it a couple of days and then do another test to put my mind at rest... I did the test today and it is positive again :o) Don't worry to much but if you need some reasurance then we are all here and you can go to your doc/midwife.... good luck and congrats.. when you due??? i had my period about 2 weeks ago now and i went to work out 2 days ago and i came home and went to the bathroom and there was a little bit of blood. today i wake up with brown discharge in my underware and when i wipe. can some one please help me please....im confused....

the same thing happened to me. i had my period than 2 weeks later i started spotting brown discharge that lasted 2 1/2 days. i went to my doctor and pregnancy was negative. i had an ultrasound which they saw something, so they sent me for a saline enhanced sonography, which was TOTALLY FINE! i was very very happy! they said it was just normal tissue and not to worry about it. since you said you were working out, its possible its from exercise or weight loss. if it continues the following month, i would set up an appointment with your ob/gyn just to make sure everything is fine. but i would relax and try to be patient until than, unfortunately thats all you can do for now. best wishes and Godbless~

I'm 19 weeks pregnant and i have had all normal sonagrams just yesterday and i have a brown discharge what is this?

hi parker. brown blood is "old blood" so its probably normal. it could be from recent intercourse or even an exam if you had one. if it worries you just phone your ob/gyn for rea__surance. i wouldn't worry about it unless it turned really red, than i would call right away. hope this helps~best wishes and Godbless~
