Ok so, my cycle is usualy 27-31 days. I had my last period on the 29th of August & on the 24-25th of September me & my boyfriend had unprotected s_x & tried for a baby, we also did it couple of days after that. Now my period is late & i really would love to know if its posible that i might be pregnant?! I am feeling all these symptoms, but i know it might just all be in my head. I felt dizzy yesterday and today & i had heartburns yesterday, also my stomach was hurting & i had a headache, but not that bad, but it was just different than usual, or maybe i thought it was because i just "feel pregnant". . I felt hurgry all day but i always do so i wont even count that. I know its too early to take a pregnacy test and my question is when is the best time to take a home pregnancy test & is it possible that i could be pregnant?!

In a normal cycle the best time to try for a baby would have been Sept 12th. Did you have s_xual contact around that time, maybe with a contraceptive accident? If you got pregnant Sept 24th it would be because you ovulated a couple of weeks late - stress or sickness? Do you have a list of early pregnancy signs to recite, and when did they start??

Actually, your dizzy, heartburn, weird cramps, appet_te and headaches all count. How about fatigue, more peeing, b___st and nip changes, vivid dreams? If any of these signs have been with you for a whole week, a test might not be too early already. GL!

Nope i did not have s_xual contact around Sept 12th. I had it on Sept 5th & then again on Sept 16th & 17th & me and my partner used the pull out method like we always do. The weird thing is that i barely have any v____al discharge. & i dont know if im not making all these symptoms up because i feel crancy & nauseous but nothing changed about my b___st. Also i was not sick or stressed in the pa__s month so its very strange that my period is late. I guess if i still dont get my period ill just wait another week to take a preg test. Thank You

m0nika, it is just possible that sperm from withdrawal s_x Sept 5th could have lasted until ovulation. Withdrawal s_x is not considered good contraception. You are now 4 days late on your longest cycle, and you have some pregnancy signs. A home test now using first morning pee would have a good chance of telling true, but wait until the weekend if you wish. Please let us know how it goes. Best of luck!

i would love to take one now but ill wait until friday so i can get better results & maybe ill get my period by then.. i just feel so pregnant and its driving me nuts not knowing! Its not the first time that i think i am pregnant so i just want to make sure this time is different. Thanks for your advice & i will let you know how it goes.

I got my period today thats why i was probably so cranky, emocional and didnt feel too good in the past couple of days. Now my question is what are the best days to try for a baby?!

The best days for baby dancing are the several days before ovulation. Ovulation is usually 14 days before your next menstruation. You can also tell ovulation is close by checking for fertile v____al mucus (like raw egg-white, stretchy between thumb and forefinger), checking that the cervix is high and open, and from high libido. You can also buy OPK (ovulation predictor kits) from the pharmacy. Don't sweat it. If you are young and healthy and have unprotected s_x mid-cycle, you will likely be pregnant within a few months. Please be sure this baby is guaranteed a two-parent family living above the poverty line before you embark on such a life-changing endeavour. GL!

Hi , I had intercourse with my partner on 5th september . we did use protection but it came off inside me . it was a couple of hours later when it was removed . i was due my period on and around the 9th but it didnt come. I had like a brown discharge for 2-3 days on and off 10- 14 days after i took a home pregnancy test during this time it came up negative but i'm not convinced and also i havnt had period since. what are the chances of pregnancy.

I would say chances are high depending on how often you have you periods I would say test in a week or 2 the bleeding on and off could be implantation bleeding which is early signs of period and not all women will have them but if you bled pinkish or brownish then it's not a normal period which gives indication that it is implantation, my advise to you is try not to think about it too much as it will delay a result of you knowing what's going on if you don't get a period in 2 weeks see your gp so blood tests can be arranged good luck !!

Jodie, S_x a few days before your period is due is not high risk. You are not listing a bunch of early preg signs. Take another test if you wish. I think it will still be negative

Hi I'm new here and was just wondering if anyone has gotten pregnant while b___stfeeding? I am still nursing my 14 month daughter and would like to have another baby..i resumed my period about 10 months ago and this month the ovulation calculator said i would ovulate between Sept 30 and Oct 5 and so my husband and i were intimate Sept 30, Oct 1 and 4. I have had some bad cramp, very bloated, headache really bad last night and very ga__sy( sorry TMI) and heartburn out of no where...could I be preggo even though I'm still nursing?? Help plz!!!
