I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2006 and using fertility injections i conceived in april 2007... and January 2008 our wonderful son was born. So now we are ready to try again. I started seeing a RE again and he decided to start me on 200mg of Clomid (which is the largest dose I have ever taken). Well, my last period was Dec 3rd, 2010 and I took the clomid days 3-7 and I have been taking Metformin 500mg 3 times a day. All of last week i had daily ultrasounds and on thursday December 16, the doctor confirmed that I successfully released 4 eggs! Now I am 8 dpo and waiting to test. I will probably take multiple tests starting on christmas day. I just wonder what the chances will be that I will concieve this time and if I will have more than one baby. I've heard that when you carry multiples you can get a positive hpt sooner??? anyone know about that? So far my nipples have been itchy and achy at times, I also feel bloated and have had weird tugging sensations down in my lower abdomen. Had some nausea yesterday.... just wondering if this is the 2ww nerves messing with me :) I really hope not. I would love to hear from others if they have conceived multiples this way and I would love to hear Grandpa Viv opinion. thanks :)
