Has anyone experienced cold symptoms as a sign of pregnancy? My nose started as being very congested, which I think caused my now irritated throat. Plus, I am very tired on top of that--could just be the cold though. Just curious if anyone had nasal congestion in early pregnancy. I am ttc and would be 6 dpo. Thanks!

i'm not sure im preggo yet, showing signs and late AF, but i have a wicked running nose and im sneezing a lot

I too would like to know the answer to this. It could just be the change in weather, but I have had a variety of symptoms of pregnancy. Just about every single one, except no + pregnancy test. I am now congested and cold medicine doesnt seem to cut it. I also feel like I have heartburn.

Rhinitis of pregnancy is often an early sign. It goes along with the v____al discharge, also a mucous membrane weeping. Good luck!

I had a sore throat, bad dizziness, fatigue, and a runny nose. I was sure it was a cold, but it turned out to coincide with RIGHT about 7-10 days after conception, so hmmmm....

i think i noticed more discharge today for the first time. it was kinda white and looked stringy in my underwear. i still have a lot of congestion,too.

I started out with cold symptoms... sore throat, runny nose, and then nausea. I was convinced it was just the flu! I took a pregnancy test (one of those early detection ones) a few days before my missed period and it was negative. The "flu symptoms" continued... my period never arrived so i took another test 4 days after my missed period... and POSITIVE!!! Now i've had a blood test to confirm the results and yes, i'm pregnant! I think the early pregnancy may have made me more susceptible to a cold... but the nausea was morning sickness!!

OMG YES!!! My sinus has been horrible throughout my entire pregnancy and I am due in 28 days!! My SIL has also been having the same issue! Plus post nasal drip will make your troat sore.

Everyone at work would comment "you've been sick for months!!" because I was always congested, runny nose. It drove me nuts!! Then I told them I was pregnant, and many of my co-workers had it as well. Once I delivered, it all went away!! I never had any other cold symptoms with my first. This time around, I have the same (sore throat, higher temp, headache, nausea.) so I am wondering if it is a pregnancy sign.....baby dust!!

Absolutely! I have been sniffling, sneezing, scratchy throat ... I had no idea this was a symptom! I just thought it was because of the weather :)

im not sure im a week off from takeing the test
but i have a cold,
stuffy noes and little of a sore throat.
if i am preg is it ok to take lemsips ect.??

I've been having these cold/allergy type symptoms for almost a month now, so I'm wondering if I am preggo. I'm also really tired and just don't wanna to anything!

i have a sore throat..nausea at work..threw up 3 times in less than 3 hours 2 days ago..and felt soooooo weak everytime i got up..i havent had no cramps..or spotting..i still feel sick..i had unprotected s_x on the 1st..and my period came on the 2nd..could i be pregnant???????????????????? someone pls help me.. i feel like i have the flu..but not sure..anyone have answers?

If your period was expected Aug 2nd, then s_x on the 1st could not have caused pregnancy. S_xual exposure on July 17th might have caused pregnancy, in which case ask yourself if the recent period was lighter and shorter than usual. A runny nose and sore throat could be a sign. How about fatigue, lotion discharge, peeing, b___sts, nips and other signs? If no other signs, you maybe have a bug. Take a test to be sure. GL!
