me and the man started try for a baby the 18th of april. then my period started the 22nd of april but it wasn't regular to me. my period usually lasts 7 days and this one ended the 27th. i took a test today and it was negative. could it be a false reading or am i really not pregnant?

Your egg drops 14 days before your period starts. If you did not have s_x around April 8th, chances are the test is telling true. If your cycle is usually 28 days, Wednesday May 5th would be prime time this cycle. GL!
