I am wondering the same thing-i'm 12.5 weeks and occasionally I have light spotting (normally as I begin to exercise or when through exercising)-it's not heavy and color is ot blood red, but with some reddish pinkish as Jill mentioned...should I be worried or is this normal

I am now pregnant with my second child and spotted for about 10 days in the first 5 or so weeks of both my pregnancies. I of course went to my doc and he said not to worry if it is brown (because it is old blood) but if it turns pink (a bit more worrisome) or bright red (to be concerned) especially if it gets heavy and is accompanied by cramping. After twelve weeks you are considered to be in the safe zone and your chances of miscarrying go way down, but if you are still experiencing this spotting I would talk to your doc.
