My partner has found aspects of my pregnancy, labour and experiences after birth very difficult, as some aspects have been quite traumatic and out of the ordinary. He has decided to set up his opwn online blog to write down his thoughts and feelings about the whole experience. This is great because then I get to read how he is truely thinking and feeling, and will be something lovely for our new son to read in years to come. It also keeps relatives updated - which means mum gets a rest from relentless phone calls! You can view his blog at http://tracktristanslife.blogspot.com, where there are some quite interesting pictures of what has happened so far. Maybe writing a blog to track your own experiences will help let you express your feelings, and work through worries too.

Hi, I'm taking a look at your blog and so far much of it seems familiar to me. Can I ask, are you in the UK? Your early scare sounds like what happened to me a few years ago and the fact that they wouldn't scan you until Monday is appauling. I miscarried on a weekend because no one would see me.
On the plus side you now have a beautiful baby boy. Congratulations. I'm going to show the blog to my husband later. It'll be really nice for him to read another Dad's perspective. We're expecting our first in about a months time.
