My bf moved away and I just found out I am pregnant, the only reason we broke up was because of the distance but we left on good terms....I'm worried that if I tell him I'm pregnant hes gonna think I trapped him and force him to come home. I dont want him to come home just because I'm having a baby. Do you think once it settles in that hes going to be a dad he might handle this better? I'm 19 and hes 21.

I think that you should tell him pretty quick. Even though you guys are broken up, he still has a right to know that you are. His reaction may not be the best but hopefully once it sets in, he might be okay with the fact that he is going to be a dad. Just wondering, did he leave home to go to school, and were you guys using any birth control?

I think you should be honest and tell him right away. Be honest with him, tell him exactly what you've told us. I agree with Stephanie, his reaction might not be the best, but it's a pregnancy and you need to let him know so that he can make his own decision even if it means, not coming back home...Good Luck

Tell him you're pregnant, but also tell him that he doesn't "have" to come home...if he chooses not to, well - your baby's probably better off without him. If he chooses to come back, then it was his choice, and not you forcing him.
