Hi guys, I (finally) have my baby home with me! He had surgery for Pyloric Stenosis Thanksgiving eve. The problem is, he has had several bradys since he started back up on food, the last two were on Saturday (no stimulation). He did have one on Friday where he needed stimulation though. I know that if the doctors aren't worried about his bradys, I shouldn't either, but I can't help to wonder if a Bebe Sounds Angel monitor will help ease my nerves. Does anyone have experience with this product? Is it too sensitive? Not sensitive enough? It costs over $100 to get it overnighted here. Thanks.

Beccah, I'm fairly new here on the forum but I read some posts you had put on here awhile back about your struggle to get your son home and I just wanted to say I'm soooo happy for you! You've been in my prayers :) I don't have any experience with the monitor, but I think anything to ease your mind would be worth it. Big Hugs!

Beccah, I'm really happy for you. You can read some reviews on epinions. http://tinyurl.com/8jx6k Only downside I've heard is too many false alarms that can drive parents crazy.

Congratulations Beccah. I do not know anything about the monitor, but it would probably provide you with peace of mind. I am so happy for you having your little boy home!

Congrats on having your baby home, what a relief! I have the monitor and love it. It is such a relief knowing that I don't have to worry (as much). We initially bought it with our first son because he was a tummy sleeper. We use it now when our second son tummy sleeps. I bought mine at Babies R Us for about $100.00. Just be aware, that as baby grows and moves around the crib, there will be "false alarms" as they can move off of the sensor pad area. The first one scared me to death!!! We eventually stopped using it as our son got older because the false alarms would wake him up.

Thanks everyone! We have had people from all over the world praying for us, and it has certainly worked! When we went to church Sunday night, our pastor said a special prayer for us and got everyone to join in. Anyway, Thanks Sonya for the info. I'll look at Babies R Us sometime today. How's your little guy doing with his vomiting?

Did it again last nigh!! UCHHHH!!! He has only done this once while my husband feeds him. Poor thing, it is just so gross. Of course, it seems like he always does this after a bath!! FIgures huh? His Dr. appt in Dec. 8 so I will ask then. I love our pediatrician. He is awesome! I think it might be acid reflux or just a gagging reflex. We'll see. Thanks for asking.

Beccah, I'm so happy to hear that Bradyn is finally home! You must be so relieved to have him to snuggle all day and night now! I think that is the best news I've heard on this site for quite a while! Yay! How big is Bradyn now?

Sonya, I was told not to wait to see a doctor if he does it more than 2x in a day... Chelsey, Bradyn was 7# 8oz when we left the hospital on monday. He hasn't pooped in two days so he's probably a whole pound heavier now. :-)

Congrats Beccah, your baby's finally home!! We use the monitor and we love it...I still keep an eye and ear on Zein during the night but it's very rea__suring to know that if I'm too tired the monitor is there. There is one semi-annoying thing, if you pick up your baby in the middle of the night, you have to remember to switch off the monitor so it doesn't sound! Best wishes and good luck!
