Hi Melissa! My arthritis was also in remission while I was pregnant. I am sorry but I do not think that I have any light to shed. By the time that my son was 3wks it came back with a vengeance. I did not realize that it could spread and it has spread to so many parts of my body. Before I was pregnant I was able to deal with it with Aleve w/ Naproxen but now that I am b___stfeeding I just have been taking Cod Liver Oil tablets w/ Omega 3 in them. It is helping me out some but I still have some serious pain. The worst pain is when I first wake up. Hopefully, overtime the Omega 3 will help me out completely. If it does not and the pain persists I am going to have to stop b___stfeeding and get some stronger medicine. I hope all is well with you. Have you been talking w/ your doctors about it? I did not talk to my doctors during pregnancy and I think that if I did I could have come up with a better plan post-partum.

I pump and feed bm to my son with dr brown bottles (wonderful bottles btw) He gets only 1 bottle of good start supreme usually a day right before bed time. My baby was very ga__sy and good start has been really good on his tummy.

With my first son we started out with Enfamil Lipil with iron and after a few months switched to Carnation Good Start it has comfort protiens that are more gentle on a baby's digestive system. My son seemed to do better with that. This time we started on Similac Advanced and just switched to Carnation Good Start Supreme with Iron and DHA/ARA. My son seems to do better with it. He was having gas on the Similac. Carnation Good Start used to be cheaper but now is more expensive they give alot of coupons though so go to their website: Verybestbaby.com

Enfamil LIPIL is very similar to b___stmilk. That's what I use. In Ohio, the large can is around $22. The best price I have got it at was $17.

TC--I've been on many diff meds, most recently prednisone when we were trying to get pregnant. I started taking omega 3 and pro joint motion from advocare, and they seemed to help a lot. I plan to go on those 2 right after baby's born. I'm supposed to see arthritis dr a month after birth. Hopefully the omega 3 and pro joint motion will work out again. Good luck to you! Thanks for the input!
