I got my AF last week, only 7 weeks PP, and it was the heaviest I can remember and its still going 8 days later. I've been on the pill for years, and now I'm on the mini pill as I'm still expressing breat milk. Anyone else had this experience?

No...I am also 7 weeks postpartum, and am not sure of whether I had a period yet. lol. I am also b___stfeeding. If I did have a period, it was very light...I am also on the minipill. I just started it on Sunday and I noticed a little bit of spotting this week which is normal when first starting oral contraceptive...but heavy bleeding does not sound normal to me...call your ob-gyn to make sure things are okay.

I had light spotting a few days before I went for 6 week check up, my ob told me to go on BC right away if I wasn't ready to get pregnant again yet. I just called his office now (on your advice) and his midwife told me its normal but not very common to get it so soon...
