soliel I talked to a friend and her daughter had the same it is probably pink eye so I'm going to go to walk in clinic when it opens at 5 I'll let you know how it goes I just don't want it to spread to the other eye.

My daughter had it when she was still in the hospital. It wasn't pink eye, but I can't remember what it was (that's kind of a fuzzy time in my mind). The hospital gave us little sample tubes of ointment and we treated it until it was gone. Babies can also get a blocked tear duct.

Okay dont wanna seem grose but my siser-in-law told me her daughter use to get this a lot and what she would do is take her wet diaper and just dap it on her eye, lightly for a few seconds. At first I thought the idea was kind of crazy but it worked! If it doesnt go away of course you should take her to the docs.

Well girls it is pink eye well a form of it it's bacterial when there is yellow or green discharge the doc said it's common for little ones we got some drops and he said within a few days it will be better but i have to do both eyes for one week, being a Mom is so fun !! My daughter has had a hell of a week first a virus with the vomiting now pink eye what's next!!!!

Kerry, every time I've taken my daughter to the doctor she's come down with something else a couple of weeks after. I think doctor's offices have lots of germs. Be glad your little sweetie can't run away when you're trying to give her medicine, or refuse to be examined by the doctor. My daughter does both...we actually had to find a different pediatrician after the three-year-old checkup. My daughter was afraid that the scale would cut off her feet (bizarre, I know) and the nurses held her down by the knees and neck to get her weight and height, and she vomited on them because she was afraid. Then the doctor told me I needed to put my daughter in day care so she would learn how to behave, and I told her she needed to hire nurses that weren't better suited to work in a vet's office...anyhow, baby illnesses seem to come in pairs, but at least the little ones are so much easier to care for when they're ill.
