I was just wondering has anyone ever got a u/s at 14 weeks ?I dont have insurance yet i will have it in feb but i went to tijuana mexico to get a u/s its really cheep only cost me $20.00 and the guy said it was a boy i just thought that it was kinda early to tell the gender of the baby hoping for a boy but dont want to get happy

That does seem a little early, actually, thats really early. It could be a boy, but it could just be a good guess on his part because I don't think you can tell at this point. Its usually between 20-24 weeks. Yes I got an ultrasound around 14 weeks, but it wasn't to see the s_x.

I had an ultrasound at 15 weeks and he said it was possible to tell the s_x, but my babies (twins!) did not cooperate

i babysit for a ldy with two children. her father-in-law is an ob/gyn and told her the s_x of both of her babies at 13 weeks. you definitely can tell that early, but most doctors prefer to wait until about 18-20 weeks.
