Am I Having Back Labor

I'm starting my 35th week, I lost my mucus plug last week and I really think my baby has already moved down into the ready position... but today I felt the strongest back pain, unlike any normal backaches I've ever had. It came inconsistently, never really having the aching go away, but when the pain came it was immensly stronger than the ongoing aching. I also felt faint and somewhat nausias with it, barely being able to talk or focus and could not find any position that would bring relief. It did, however, eventually go away and I was back to normal in an hour. Several hours later, though, I'm fine if I'm sitting with a heated back pad, but when I walk around or stand my pain is very strong in the same place and pretty unbearable. Could these be early back labor or back contractions? (since certain positions are ok, others are not) or just back pain due to the baby maybe being in a weird position? Should I call my doctor and see if I shoudl be checked out? And if it is back labor, will I notice it becoming more consistent (the strong moments of pain) or will it be harder to time than with abdominal contractions? (I'm clueless. This is my first)

Sounds to me like Braxton hicks. I've been having them for several weeks now and I'm almost 38 weeks. I read that if the pain goes away when changing positions, then it's just BH contractions, but whenever you move to another position and you still have pain, then it's real contractions and you should time them and call your dr. I haven't felt as many abdominal contractions yet, but the ones in my lower back have been like period cramps and week by week they get worse. Hope this helps!
