I am 37w6d with my first baby and have been nauseated off and on for over a week now. Night before last I have contractions for 1 1/2 hours and a touch of Diarrea(sorry if TMI) then they stopped. Then yesterday I had an Achy back just about where your waistline is with and extremely sore groin area. The backache has come and gone since then sometimes it is real bad other time barely noticeable. I also notice that I think I am losing my Mucous plug since 3:00 AM. Its yellowish and stringy.(sorry again if TMI). I am just not sure if this is beginning stage of labor or prelabor or something else. My husband wanted me to go to L&D and have them check me but I told him even if I was in labor it too early to go to the hospital they will just send me home again. Has anyone else experienced this? I don't know what to do.

well if you are asking then no. early labor or pre mature labor will not progress and the contractions will not get stronger and its something you can tolerate and still breathe through. actuall labor or pains in which progress and youll find they get unbarable. It wouldnt hurt to go in and get checked even by your doctor to see if you are dialating or not. if you find your contactions are 5 minutes apart and lasting 60 seconds, thats when you go to the hospital or if your water breaks. Id go into your doctor anyways, just for some professional input. gl
