Has anyone had experience with pain medications during labor? What worked best for you? Everyone seems to get the epidural. But I've heard that can increase the need of a C-section. Especially since it can make you or the baby's heart rate drop.

I had an epidural. It only worked on my left side of my body. I didn't really know what else I could get and my labor was only 4 hrs so I just dealt with the pain that was still there.
