Well everybody.... I am just about a week overdue. My due date was 12/31 and the little guy is still not here. So I'm being induced on 1/8. My question is ... this time my doc says he is going to induce with cytotec. As for my last pregnancy I was induced with Pitocin. Just wondering if anyone has experienced both and if there is any pain comparison. Lemme know because my experience w/Pitocin wasn't a great one and I'm nervous! ty

I have not had cyotec but just wanted to use a word of caution. Cyotec is NOT listed a use for labor induction. And there are loop holes in policies about the drug that doesn't allow your to sue or press charges against the doc that uses it in some areas. And until the fda approves it for labor induction i would ask them to use pitocin.
