I JUST BOUGHT SOME EVENING PRIMROSE OIL TABLETS AND I'VE HEARD IT CAN INDUCE LABOR NATURALLY. I'M DUE ON AUGUST 23RD, AND I WANT TO GET THINGS STARTED. (I'VE BEEN DIALATED 1-2 CM, FOR 4 WEEKS, AND 50% EFFACED AT -1 STATION). I ALSO HAVE SOME CASTOR OIL, BUT I'M AFRAID THAT'LL JUST SEND ME TO THE BATHROOM ALL DAY!! HAHA. HOW SHOULD I TAKE THE EVENING PRIMROSE OIL, AND HOW EFFECTIVELY DOES IT WORK? I WANT THIS BIG BABY OUT! =]

i've been taking the softgel caps...does that make a difference?? i went to the hospital today, and the nurses wanted to induce me, but my doctor is an a__s. so now, i have to wait until tomorrow, my due date, to see what happens.

you can take them orally, or use a needle to make little holes in the caplet and inserting it into your v____a so that your cervix is comes in contact with the oil--apparently it quickens ripening. good luck

I STOPPED TAKING THE TABLETS BECAUSE I'M BEING INDUCED ON MONDAY, THE 28TH. 2 MORE DAYS!! =] AFTER SO MANY TRIES TO GET ME INTO THE HOSPITAL ON MY DUE DATE, UP UNTIL TODAY, I GAVE UP. THE HOSPITAL HAD NO ROOM!! INSANE. I CANT WAIT TO MEET MY SON IN 2 DAYS!!
